Bruiser without AA's

Hi all, the title says it all. I am new to the game and after playing the trial want to make a bruiser. I only have the original eq2 game right now as I don't want to spend any more money getting the other exp packs. My question is..how good are bruisers without the achievement things. Could I be effective solo lvling w/o them or should I consider another class?

You will be able to solo without any AA's in old-world content, but once you reach the higher levels, you will have to choose where you fight very carefully.  Content will be pretty limited if you constrain yourself to no AAs and solo play.  There are a LOT of cool places to go in groups, and a LOT of cool places to go if you are tough enough (good enough gear and AAs).  If you get into groups with a plate tank, your lack of AAs wont be as bad because bruisers don't contribute much besides DPS to a group.  You'll do enough DPS that the group members won't notice (except for Gungo who notices everything).

<p>invest in kingdom of sky.  Barefisted AA rules! Fabled weapons that scale with level.  </p><p>bruiser specific AA is good, but brawler is way better IMO.</p>
