View Full Version : Constant crashing to character select after today's patch

Anyone else getting this?  Could happen in 5 minutes or up to 10 was the longest I stayed in game. Last night was fine, raided for 4 hours then went out doing instance runs for another hour or so after that.

Same here. Only managed to stay ingame 5 minutes or so.

Me too... Seems to happen mostly if i start doing something, like cast a spell or something. But still it did happen without doing anything for several times, after about 5 min ingame... Also yesterday was nothing wrong....

Well at least you can get in <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Since the patch character select hasn't been available. I've had to go through multiple alternate login servers just to get to the char. selection screen only to have it show server wide down status with OFFLINE server down; that and my armor and level is old. Looks like the web content hasn't caught up yet. I've been watching the official server status go from ONLINE to the same servers being problematic about every fifteen minutes. Can just picture some young nerdy kid intern over at SOE offices, who's been hired for and assigned the specific role of clicking the server status refresh button on que. Today he's a little jumpy for some reason, has an itchy trigger finger.

I get to loading Instance and it crashes to character select. The game shows that the servers are up, but I get the message that all the servers are busy please try again later. So I can get to character select but not actually in game. Have already done a full file scan and updated my UI. May try again tonight and just remove all mods altogether. I find it odd though that my older PC has no problems logging on, its only my new Athalon 64 dual core that is having these issues...
