EQ2 Client App Error

<p>So this morning before work I played EQ for about an hour with no problems. I see the in-game message that the servers are going down at 10 am est for an update. I head off to work and when I get home I log in, get the update and press play. Right after it finds my toon and says "Entering game as ....." I get a windows EQ2 client error and EQ shuts down. I have reinstalled the game and still no luck. Does anyone know of any issues in the patch that is causing me problems?</p><p> Thanks, </p><p>       Frustrated</p>

omg like I think I am having the same problem...I press play get to the character select screen and press play again then I log in and less than a mintue later I crash out...at first I thought it was my memory I just bought and install new stuff today...but now I am thinking it is EQ...

Please Fix mine also I can log in all but Kickk. It's real frustrating Thanks.

<p>Hello Folks, </p><p>Since you were playing before try this first. </p><p>Delete the cache folder,  eq2_recent.ini, eq2_default.ini, EverQuest2.exe and all files, if applicable, named after the character with which you're having this issue.</p><p>The character specific files will appear as such:</p><p>Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.ini</p><p>Stationname_characters.ini</p><p>If that does not resolve your issue please post the info asked for in <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=16611" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Read This First before posting System files. Directions.</a> </p><p><b>Hoshino</b> since you started this thread post that info here, everyone else please start a new thread for your info. </p><p>This may be related to the crash issues being investigated but I don't know for sure. </p>
