Bare Fist CA question

<p>Been using Bare Fists for a while.  I have STR tree comfortably filled (4/4/8/1) and commonly double hit for 600-800 damage (300-400 per hit)</p><p>With these 2 CA's on my hotbar: </p><p>Pound (level 57) I have at adept I - 148-445 melee damage Dropkick (level 61) I also have at adept I - 156-469 crushing damage</p><p>Any point in even using them?  Will it interrupt my auto-attack delay?  Or is it just "extra DPS?"</p><p>I'm tempted to just remove them <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>agressiv</p>

1) Bare hand delay is around 2.0 seconds, so there's plenty of time to fit combat arts in between autoattack hits as long as you are not super hasted. 2) Those two combat arts can advance heroic opportunities, which may or may not be of any use to you. 3) Once you have Knockout Combination at 65 you will want all the combat arts you have available to spam for lots of extra damage when you use it.

In addition, if you activate a CA right before an autoattack goes off, the game will do the combat art and keep the autoattack in the queue.  The autoattack will go off while the combat art is recovering.  If you queued up another combat art while the first combat art is still going, the game will still do the autoattack during the recover phase of the first CA and still start the next CA when the recover phase of the first one is done. Because of this, spamming combat arts is the best DPS unless you are super-hasted.  For some reason when my haste gets above 50 or so, my DPS actually goes down.  I haven't figured out what to do about that other than unhaste myself. My source for this info is a post from the old bruiser forums that I probably can't and definitely don't have time to find, so please flame away if you know for sure that it works a different way.  =)
