Should "No-Trades" be transferable to another toon?

<p>Some of you might be thinking "huh?"</p><p>Ok here's my situation.  I have a 70 Fury who has completed Claymore, Godking, and many other signature quests.  He has some nice gear and master spells.  SInce the dawn of EoF, I really wanted to make A Fae but remain a Fury(love the class).  Once I level my fae up to 70, I plan on deleting my old fury(High Elf).  What sucks it all those spells, gears, quests go to waste and I have to repeat all of them over with my new guy. =/  If the fae class was available from day one, I would have went with it.  Now I don't believe there is a way to transfer all those items<b>(if there is please let me know</b>) but do you think people in my situation should be allowed to option?  </p><p> IMO:  It should be allowed because the reasoning behind attuning/No Trade Items is to prevent someone from using it and then selling it to another; to control item output.  My situation <b><u>does not</u></b> go against any of these rationales.  It is going from one of my toons(which is about to be deleted) to another...both are the same class and on the same account.  </p><p> The only obstacle I see is not reason but simply the investment of time/energy needed by SoE.  </p>

No.  No-trade is no-trade.  If something new comes out and you want to be that race now, then you start over.

You should have been asking for just a race change.   I don't think no-drop from one toon on the account should be transferable to another of the same class.   It's admirable that you want to reroll another fury as a Fae but the price you pay is that you have to 'build' them again.  They are 2 totally separate characters that just happen to be on the same account.

<p>I must agree with the previous posters. You should not be able to transfer No Trade items from one character to another on the same account. I see no good that could come of it except in the very peculiar case you describe.</p><p>It boggles my mind to think that you would take a level 70 toon that is fully outfitted and delete it in order to make another level 70 toon of the same class. Not very many people will want to do this. This is your business and I fully agree that you have every right to do it but if I announced an intention to do this my guild would have me committed.</p><p>I have played my Paladin to level 70, completed all the major questlines, etc. If I find the time to bring another character to 70 I guarantee it will not be another Paladin. In fact it won't be a Guardian, Shadowknight or Berserker either. </p><p>I do think you should be able to transfer Lore items through the shared bank without an intermediary but there are probably technical reasons why they don't let you do that.</p>

what i wish we could do is pass attuned items to other toons for the express use of transmuting. I coul even tag itself as non-equippable, as long as it can be broke down.

<p>In my opinion "No-Trades" should be usable by any 'one' toon that you have.  </p><p>Eg. If you completed a HQ and get a No-Trade sword and attune it to that toon you should not be able to trasfer it.</p><p>If you get the same No-Trade sword and do not attune it to your main, then you should be able to transfer it to one of your other toons.</p><p>That way you are only using what you've earned, you just have more flexibility as to which toon you want to give the reward to.</p>

Should we make no-trade items tradeable? Of course not, that's quite possibly the dumbest idea I've heard asked for 3,344,359 times on the forums.

This is almost as bad as that time for a while that everyone went through their "I want to change my race" phase. Like a betrayal quest or something.

Possibly just expand the consignment system so you can "consign" your Green Sword of Uberness to be transmuted into something?
