Hey all, I'm currently using the Ancient Velium Warhammer two-handed hammer -- DR 89.7 until I could get my hands on 2x Fabled dual wield weapons. Last night in raid I was lucky enough to loot the Mace of Red Scales dual wield mace -- DR 54.1. My question is, how good does the other dual wield weapon have to be in order for me to dish the two-hander? I suspect it's not as simple as subtracting 54.1 from 89.7 is it! Cheers! Mungjaw

it only depends on your AP's

But yeah, in terms of base damage a 35.6 and a 54.1 dw weapons will do, on average, the same amount of damage as a 2h 89.7 one. It's the non-DR stuff that you have to worry about!

I think the last poster is incorrect, although I haven't parsed extensively to test it. I see similar dps with 2 57+ DR fists as I do with a 100 DR 2-hander. I think there may be some inherent efficiency loss with the dual-wield.

I'm pretty sure I've seen this question asked before....

This is just me and my feel for the Bruiser class... but EW EW EW EW AND EW! Bruisers should NEVER use weapons that other classes can use such as warhammers or maces... Staves are ok, but more so for monks.

Instead of breaking and using other classes weapons, we should petition and strike for kick [Removed for Content] fist weapons that are more than just comparable to the weapons that the other classes can use!

/endrant. >_>;

You've obviously never beaten on something with the Vraksakin Claw Club. The crits rock!
