Last night I took my guild on a raid into Labratory. We were only able to field an x2, and we lacked certain key classes, so I called for some more help in channeld. Thank you to everyone who helped out. That being said, i'd like to make a few points. Bear in mind I'm on a PVP server and I don't have access to any FP only classes. I don't care if you've heard these before. But these are my personal notes about things that helped me tank.

A good mystic is absoloutly neccisary for a monk tank. On most pulls I never took 1 point of damage.

Swashbucklers are good hate. I was doing 800dps, and my swash was doing another 1k (300 aggro for me). Adding in the 300 hate/second my taunt generate I was holding up to ~1.5k aggro on my main target. Probably something like 500 on the other members of my target group.

Jesters cap (troubadour level 65 special) before pulls helps so much. A tsunami on every pull? Oh yeah!

Add any tips you want, and/or dispute some of mine. I've got some advantages (easy access to fabled armor) and some disadvantages (no brigands, defiler etc.) I'm just happy I got the opportunity to tank epics.
