I have an issue with an item that is stuck in my marketboard for selling items. After one of the recent patches, a chest item i have for sale in my marketboard that is in my apartment (located in scale yard-freeport) is bugged. The item no longer has a name on it when highlighted, it can no longer be examined, and it will not allow me to remove it from consignment. I want to remove the box that it is in from the marketboard so that I can replace it with a salesman crate; but the box can't be removed due to there being an item in the box. This is a problem, because I can not remove the item from the box.

I petitioned, but was informed that this was a developer concern and not CS. I was given a link to come to the forums to check for issue updates for this particular issue, but have found none (as I was told this was a known issue). I would appreciate assistance with this problem.

Thank you,

Radah Tat'tat, Nagafen Server

Hello Timminx,

I wish they would specify which forum you need to go to, in this forum we look at issues on your computers not in game bugs like this seems to be at least accrdong to the in game CS , frankly if this is a bug any announcement is going to be found in the update message when the bug is fixed.

/rant off.

That being said since you are here, let me see if we can help you with this.

You may want to delete the cache folder, eq2_recent.ini, eq2_default.ini, EverQuest2.exe and all files, if applicable, named after the character with which you're having this issue.

The character specific files will appear as such:

Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.ini

Stationname_characters.ini

In addition rename or move UI folder to make sure that you are forced to download new default UI files.

Now this is not to say this is not a bug , but I have not heard of this one until so keep me up to date.

I am having the same problem - except I have two items. Both look like gold plate chest pieces.

Hello Keku,

So I take it my suggestions did not resolve this for you?

Ahh thanks Brad - I had this forum up for a while this morning trying to post while doing the housework/Mommystuff so I must have missed your response since I had my reply window up for so long. I will try that out tomorrow and see if it works and post here.

Either your advice or the patch fixed it. Thanks!

I didn't have the chance to test out your advice, Brad, but the stuck item is no longer there. I assume it was repaired with the patch. However, I appreciate the response and the attempt to help me fix the issue. /bow
