American express gift card

Hey everyone, currently i am on the free month that is ending tomorrow. The game is great, but due to school deciding to cram me with stuff this semester I cant play. So i was wondering if I cancel my subscription before the billing date (tomorrow) will the American express gift card still read that it is used? or will all the money still be on the card?

SoE bills on-the-go, so subscriptions not yet paid for should not be deducted from the card.  They treat those reloadable crads like any other credit card.
