This is also more of a technical support forum issue. Maybe you don't have the proper codec installed for what I assume is Windows Media Player playing it...or does it use the Bink player? I haven't looked in the folders...

Pretty sure the file extension was BIK. Might be mis remembering though. Sounds like a codec issue to me though.

You're not missing much, the movie was well done, yes, but I deleted it entirely to free up the hard drive space after watching it just once.

If you're dieing to see it, hopefully someone here can tell you what codec, if any, would be involved. Anyone who wants to help instead of making the poor OP wait for technical support should be able to determine the codec used in the file by opening it in a hex editor. Codec details are usually in plain text at the beginning of the file....it'll be one of the only things readable in a hex editor.

I'd do it, but as I said...I deleted the movie after I watched it once.

I know theres a way to get rid of it completely. As I did. There was a post a few weeks ago about the same thing and someone said how to do it. I think it has something to do with your .ini file. Seeing it once was cool. 30x neat. 100x ok how do i get this off...

Glad to see this post because oddly enough, I'm having the same problem. I should rephrase that. It's not really a problem - it just no longer plays the opening cinematic, which is fine because I'd already seen it a dozen times. But mine also now just goes to black (I can click through the following EQ, Sony, etc. logos just fine). /shrug
