Scourge Revisited

<p>Not really much info on the boards when searching for this Shaman final AA ability.</p><p> I am only interested in PvE experience.  The spell description indicates that when used it causes damage for "each" benefical spell the mob has and removes all benefical spell effects.  Nice. Be great to throw at a raid mob after the tank establishes aggro...take all the buffs off the mob...or so I thought.</p><p>So I've been experimenting around with AA builds.  I Maxed out Int Line to get the final ability "Scourge", which I believed to be a nuke involving the death of your pet and above mentioned debuff.  I am non-plussed by its performance.  Perhaps I believe that any "buff" is a benefical spell, which is not the case, as it only affects those that increase resistances.</p><p>At level 70 it does approximately 1538 damage when I have the doggie fully buffed up.  It does not matter what mob I throw it at, be it a green con level 60 or a yellow con epic...doggie dies with litte effect.  Even against green con solo mobs it has little effect.</p><p>Is this ability working as intended?  What are your experiences using it? </p>

<p>Im a lvl 55 defiler and I tried scourge today... having a hard time trying to find the AAs I like in the shaman tree.. So I tried the int line today... I think scourge is broken.. I went to ruins to find try it out, I attacked a group of orcs and let the pet attack then hit scourge... it killed my pet alright... did 1250 dam to it, but non of the orcs took any dam.. in addition to that I got agro from a group of orcs nearby, lvl 12 orcs.. Non of the orcs took any dam from the scourge, I later tried if on an orc that have buffs on it... nada, no dam and didnt even remove a single buff on it.. the pet was attacking that mob and nada when I hit scourge. worthless skill so far.</p>

So no else wishes to share insight into this AA end ability? Is is it that horrible and under utilized?
