Where do I plug in a petition number I was quoted to find out the status of a petition? I haven't even got an email to acknowledge my petition so I guess I need to track down it' status. Thanks.

When was the petition made? I know that way back when they revamped the petitions, I got a response number as well in Game, but there was no way for me to look it up as it was on the old system. I had to repetition it on the new system. Also, make sure that you are actually doing a /petition in game. A friend of mine had been /bug something that should have been a petition. He was cursing SOE after a week of no resposne until I finally got a hold of him to set him straight. When you do a /petition while in game, it will direct you to a browser window http://support.station.sony.com/petition . When I first did a /petition it prompted me to verify my email first. There is some helpful hints here.. I hope that this helps you out. Once your email has been verified, you should receive a copy of your petition and any responses after that....

FIrst it wanted to verify my email address which it did. I made my petition and got a petition number. I'v enot received a single email since. I am wondering what I can do with this petition number and it's been almost 2 weeks since I made my petition. What's the normal response time for a petition approximately and is it abnormal to not even receive a "we receive dyour petition blah blah email? Do I need to resubmit this petition even though I got a confirmation number that apprently serves no purpose? Thanks.

It turns out I had gotten a response I followed your link and searched arounf for 40 minutes and found a way to plug my information in there and see I got a response the response was that hte surname I had in eq1 for 5 years Aikido was not appropriate to eq2's naming policy. I find that ironic since it's both soe product and a surname of bucklemypootonguefoo is ok but not Aikido. Lame. Lol just another welcome mat yanked out from under me i'd swear this game works hard to turn people off. I see idiots walking around with the stupidest most offensive names on the planet and all I want is the same surname I had in eq1 for 5 years and i get a stupid dry response like this that if it hadn't been for your link i'd never even have known I got.

Sorry to hear your issue was that. However if it is against the naming policy, then chances are someone recognized it as against the policy and reported it. That would explain how the other names are being caught. In many cases unless a guide or GM see it, it comes down to someone reporting it.... I am glad that you figured it out though.... Don't let it get you down...
