15 bucks a month, 20 for station access, which gives you access to 2 more character slots (so you can roll 8 instead of 6) maybe it's 4 more, I dunno. In pounds, I dunno, I'm about 215 pounds, and 15 bucks a month, so that's like, 215/15, or roughly 14.3333 pounds per month. Sh*t man I dunno... It's a fun game... really, it's quite indepth, there's hack 'n slash, roleplaying, TONS of quest content, a pretty darn decent tradeskilling system, don't ask ANYONE to tell you EVERYTHING there is to know about the game. Then why bother playing it. Further, that's aLOT of writing. 3) it WILL consume your life. 4) your system is capable of playing it, room for improvement includes mainly RAM upgrade (some people swear by 2gb) but other than that your comp seems like it could chew it up pretty good (note: this doesn't necessarily mean the HIGHEST graphic settings: EQ2 was designed with future hardware in mind, and really, only those with 8800 GTX cards that manage to have gotten it running stable are able to see playable frame rate at extreme graphics settings. Feel free to browse all forums: you'll get a feel for what some of the issues are, what people like/dislike. Read about the races/classes, see what suits ya. -Drakhammor

One question Whats best to use as i live in England? Global Collect or Credit Card?

That probably depends on how much your bank or credit card company charges you for foreign currency transactions. Personally, I've had bad experiences with Global Collect payments a few years back, so I pay directly by credit card whenever possible. Also, I believe you still can't purchase expansions or adventure packs directly from SOE via Global Collect. (Someone correct me if that has changed in the meantime)

Another thing. If you haven't purchased the game yet, I suggest you pick up a boxed copy of Echoes of Faydwer, which includes the base game and all three expansions that have been released so far. Only adventure packs have to be purchased separately.
