how many unlinked mobs can you keep mezed before your overwelmed??

<p>Last week I was mentored down to help some friends in CL. There was a cluster of 6 ^^^ orcs all together, and I was able to lock down 5 of the 6. It took about 20 seconds to get them all completely under control, and the healer had to swap back and forth between me and the tank a bit, but. . . I eventually go them all.</p><p>That said, I was mentored down from 61, so I had a lot of spell ines available that I normally wouldn't have at 19.</p>

<p>Unlinked? Depends on if you have someone else (tank) holding their attention, and how much damage they do. You can start with AOE stun, but that's only going to last long enough to mezz 2 or maybe 3. Then it's mostly a question of how many mezz's, stuns, roots, dazes you can get off before they kill you. If you could start me in the middle of a group of 4 yellow ^^^'s that weren't aggro (so I could get off a clean AOE stun), I think I would live. Dunno, I've never been in that kind of situation I don't think.</p><p>If someone else is holding aggro, then it's really not much different than if they were linked, except you cant' rely on the group stun or group mezz to hit more than 1. I think six is a reasonable number. Depending on the circumstances it could be higher or lower.</p>
Are we talking theoretical or actual? Theoretically we can take 6 different mobs out of the fight with Mez and AoE Mez alone. If you include Charm into the equation we can get a 7th. Include root and we can get 4 more. So a Total of 11 Mobs in different groups can be taken out of the fight. Of course that is all good until you realize if anything resist the game is over and requires split second timing (cast, target another, que, begin to cast, target another, etc) Now if you want to include the chance of resists (reasonable amount) into the equation, I would say 5 would be a good number to shoot for.

Any Coercer that says more is lieing, or is including stun/stifle/dazeing one of them.</p><p>If you look at your timers, our main mezz including refresh and duration can handel 4, with enough gap for 1 resist per cycle. Do to the recast on our EE mez that can only handel 1. (permitting you have the thought stones of course... which you should.)</p><p>Now how many mobs we can "handel" is a totally different thing. If you include stun/stifle/daze it depends on the Coercer, but your average /coercer should be able to do a 5 NPC lock down with mezz w/o issues. (unless his subjugation is horrable and gets resists all over of course.) Also please note this is all singles, NONE are linked as one encounter. Given if you have 4 solo and the 5th is an encounter of 8, with awsome timing we can handel that as well.</p>
