Where did my Alternates go?

I logged in this morning and my Gnome Female Alternate appearance is gone. In fact, I am asked at the character screen to set a new appearance. When I do, the one that I *used* to have is now *GONE*. What happened? I cannot select the one I had anymore? Did I miss something? Great, my Gnome female is no longer white with a long white braid of hair. She is now black with a nasty yellow splotch of hay on her head. Gone are her glasses - and gone are the choices to put her back where she was. No glasses anymore? No long braids? Ok SOE, what gives? Yes, I have them toggled in my alternate appearances. Yes I had already selected the alternate for this char, but it somehow got deleted. Weird, because my dwarf male's alternate is still there working as intended. The gnomes stuff is screwed?

I don't understand your problem, you changed your character's appearance and now you are wondering that your previous appearance is gone? What did you think changing your appearance would do? You can go to the barber in game (WFP or NQ) and change your appearance again for a fee.

<p>Hi!</p><p>I believe i have tried something similary, i have a small blond gnome female aswell, and i got a free "set appearence" in the character selection screen. When i try to set a new appearence, she turns black and ugly, well i guess that is changeable but furthermore it says she belongs to Freeport but she really is a Qeynosian. I have tried several times with the same result but have cancelled the progress everytime in fear of finding her some fine morning in the filthy streets of Freeport.</p>

The Gnome alternate appearance I created for my Gnome Assassin has dissapeared. Gone is her beautiful blond pony tail and glasses, she has been replaced by a black body with a tuft of yellow hair. FUGLY. At the char selection screen, the "Set Alt Appearance" has re-appeared. So I went back in to set her back up again and the choices for her are gone. No glasses, no blond hair, no pony tails, nothing - it is all gone. My toggles are set correctly under options "Alt Apperances", so I dont see that as an issue. So I tried creating a new char, gnome, and NONE of the glasses or settings that were there before are available - like they just dissapeared. So I stopped playing my fugly little gnome. My Dwarf Paladin still has his alternate appearance that I set, so it only seems to have affected gnomes.
