Hey, I'm having a problem with my chat channels. At one point I joined like 5 different channels at once, all the standard public ones. I joined them via the chat options window, placing a check next to each default channel. I went back into chat options a little later on and unchecked some of the channels. However, they stayed associated to their channel number. Just to make sure I have the mechanic straight in my head, here how I think it works. You're not in any channels. You go into chat options, or you /join Level_10-19 and it assigns it to /1. Then you type /1 and your message. Once you type in /1 it converts to the channel name, for this example it was Level_10-19. When I look at my chat options for my default window and combat log, no channels are checked. I typed /leave 1 and did that for channels 1 - 10. Now when I go back into chat options or use /join for Level_10-19, it assigns it to channel number /9. If I type /1, it changes /1 to [Qeynos_Swashbuckler] for me. I'm sure it would be different depending on the order in which I joined the channels. To continue, if I type /1 and then a message, it says I am not in the channel. Ok, that's fine. But how to I release the association between [Qeynos_Swashbuckler] and /1 so that I can associate a different channel that number? I doublechecked chat options for both chat windows that are open, no checks. I typed /leave 1 and did it through channel 10. Then I logged out and closed the game. Logged back in, opened chat options and put a check next to Level_10-19, clicked on Ok. Set it to channel /9. Went back in, unchecked it, relogged. Tried /join Level_10-19, same thing. Some channels are assigned to the lower numbers, but that's only be cause they were before. Just in case it matters, here is my lineup. /1 = [Qeynos_Swashbuckler] /2 = [Level_10-19] /3 = [Qeynos] /4 = [butcherblock.swashbuckling] /5 = [Level_1-9] /6 = [Qeynos_Help] /7 = [Qeynos_Halfling] /8 = [Qeynos_Newbie] /9 = [Qeynos_Crafting] /10 = [Qeynos_Trading] 11 and beyond are not assigned. Any toughts as to what I can do, to unassign/unassociate all the channel numbers, then re-join and fix the problem?
