Using Safari and these new boards is horrible.  Anytime I reply all the returns just disappear, as do the horizontal bars, everything to do with HTML just goes the way of the dodo.I just inserted 5 returns above this "line"(which won't appear as a line at all).  http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=347903 is an example of what replying with a quote shows.

Safari doesn't exactly have a huge share of the browser market, but I am a bit surprised it is giving such poor results.  I was under the impression it was pretty based in web standards though I guess every browser seems to have its own twist on what the standards are. <img src="/smilies/2786c5c8e1a8be796fb2f726cca5a0fe.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

I've actually stopped using Safari for a bit. I do almost all my web browsing/email from my macbook pro.  Yes, the new boards hate Safari.  However, the newest implementation of Firefox on the mac works decently (still not perfectly)  I hated how the forums front page would scroll and i'd have to scroll across to get to the Dev tracker. The straw that broke the camels back with Safari?  Everytime I posted on guildportal my posts would show up as <no text entered>  As a roleplayer, losing my writing is bad.  I have since started to compose my stuff offline before posting and in Safari the C&P works decently.

Why on why would you use Safari? It is full of bugs and security holes. Use Firefox or IE. Its up to Apple to get it to work with the web not vice versa.

IE has not been supported on a mac in a long long time, and MS has discontinued the download of it.  As for why I would use Safari, it's integrated into Apple's OS similiar to the way IE is to Windows and I happen to ~like~   it.  'bugs and security holes'  Sounds like you are talking for a pc. I love my macbook. It's light, portable, pretty and  doesn't get ~too~ hot.

If the boards arent looking right on Safari its Safaris issue not the boards.
