I just renewed my monthly billing after a year but my characters are not there.  Is there anyway to get them back??

If you reinstalled the game, make sure you choose the correct reagion (there is a US and a Europe Region to pick from) If that's been doone already, you can petition to have a GM restore your characters. If its the first request for this, they should honor it. (I know from personal experience)

As the previous poster said, make sure you have the correct region selected.  In addition, your characters will not show up in the launcher dropdown when you first install the application... try logging in to the character select screen, if you havent already. --Ruab

Yeah it would be my first request.  I am using the same station name for logging in but I had to buy a new game. I hope that doesnt have an effect on it.

Ok I picked the right region but still no luck. I have a question though, I had to buy a new game all together.  So is that affecting me in getting my old characters back. I mean I had a lvl 47 wizard on antonia bayle and I would like him back lol.

No it doesn't matter, as long as you're on the same account.

Why did you have to buy another game?  Just for the expansions?  Normally, all you would have to do is re-activate the account. Unfortunately, they only guarantee characters for 3 months after cancellation, although I have never heard of them deleting one before. Did you log all the way into the character select screen, or just to the patcher? --Ruab

Ok well I had characters on Antonia Bayle which i know didnt merge.  And also I have it on English (US) so please lets not try to insult my intelligence.

Actually, I already had the region picked, I was just stating I had the correct region picked.

No, SOE has the right to delete them permanently after only 90 days inactivity.

Plain and simple, if you have the correct region selected and have logged into the correct server to find that your characters no longer exist then there's nothing that anyone can do for you here. You will need to contact Billing Support via phone, email or chat in order to have any chance of having this issue resolved.

Are you looking at the actual ingame character select screen or are you going put off by the fact that the LaunchPad list doesn't show them? If it's the latter, simply click on "Play"...
