monk vs swashbuckler pvp

<p>I have a 70 monk on nagafen server and i usually don't have any problems soloing most melee classes. For the first time i dueled a swashbuckler though , i have all pvp gear and he was in some mid type legendary and mastercrafted gear. When i had my tsunami up and the swashy started attking me his main cas and auto attks got parried and riposted but NONE of his counter attacks and another attk ( i think it was called daring attack...) following the counter attk were getting avoided... and i kept taking those hits after every attack i would parry , deflect and riposte . Although i ended up killing him in the duels twice i was wondering if it's a bug or something that those attks dont get avoided...? I checked my log and none of it was... if someone can shed some light on this wud be appreciated. </p>

it's not impossible to beat a swash in pvp as a monk.  the best way to beat them, is to find them afk somewhere you can atk them.  miracles help a lil.  other than that, go offensive and hope you can keep them stunned/stifled until they die.  basically if they land 1 stun on you, you can just get up, go to the fridge, and grab a coke.  when you get back, click revive. such a hopeless fight.  maybe a ranged approach.  run like a girl throwing things at them, try to stun them if they get near.  grats to you for winning your duels.  not an easy thing to do.
