Hi All I have registered fraps, so I can capture high resolution videos. Currently recording either in 1280x1024 res. or higher. But I need a video editor to add writings, some effects, music to some parts of video. I was using Virtual Dub for compression or adding music, but I can not add writings by it. Windows Movie Maker.. The resolution it offers are not the ones I want, the highest quality can be in 700x something resolution I guess. So I need a good video editor that could edit the video, and compress. Please share your video editor knowledge. Thanks in advance

I started off with MAGIX movie edit. It was simple, yet so advanced. I learned alot from it.

Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects are just..... Just.... Spifffy. I am in love.

People liek Irras and Zilreed are using Sony Vegas though, which is also very spiffy =)

You can do ANYTHING in those editers.
