I just came up with a idea....I'm not a filmer though.

I just thought if it would be cool if there would be like a super movie..were like all film makers come together and like make a super movie....like one filmer writes the story and another does the music and another films the movie and another does voices (if needed).

It was just a idea........sorry if it sounds stupid.

No actually that's an idea some of us were tossing around a month ago. No solid plans ever came of it, but I wouldn't be opposed. I feel sorry for the person who has to film it all though. That's the hardest part haha.

More or less, what I had imagined was everyone write the story. Add their ideas and such. One person would have to film it. Then we just pass the project to each other and add our own special flair to it. It does sound fun, but I fear it would take so long to complete.

hehehe /shudder

The filming would be ok, id feel sorry for the editor!

And where IS everyone? Zilreed? Zemfira? Deeron? All the other regulars? If the other servers have been like ours recently, EQ has become a bit dead, which I cant really understand as theres a fantastic expansion out. I guess its just time for a lull?....

Mori

it's a neat idea. I'd be game. Another possibility could be a long story. I've seen threads on various forums where someone starts a story then someone else continues it. We could do the same thing only in video form. We could be like a soap opera in the fact that the actors keep changing for each episode heck, petrified eyes are plentiful (i've got an almost complete set) so staying the same race for each character shouldn't be too much of a problem. Each of us have our own unique style so each "episode" would be an expression of that style. Zil's would prolly be a romantic episode ( ) mine would probably be a funny episode, Mori's would be artistically stunning, Irras' video would be an hour long with a cast of thousands and earn an emmy, you get the idea. We could make a thread here dedicated to it. We could keep the first post modified to list all the episodes. Then after we post one then whoever gathers the courage or is struck by the muse can post that they'll make the next one and we'll all wait on pins and needles to see what they create. The Super Movie idea is nice, but the logistics are kinda mind numbing. That's my 2 copper pieces. Thoughts?

Should do something sort of like pulp fiction. Shoot one short scene in which a lot happens. Then retell the stories of each of the people there, each director getting his own take on events.

So, from the looks of things this may actually happen eh? And if I'm reading the feel of the thread right it seems that people like the idea where we do an continuing series of episodes where we each do our own episode. Am I right? Or do people like the Pulp Fiction idea better. Personally I'd be up for either. I think they'd both be a pile of fun. Either way it looks like I'm gonna haveta learn how to put voices into my videos. I'm sure that someone could do a 'silent movie' type episode, but it ain't gonna be me

To put voices into movies, download a program called audacity (it's free). A very simple program that allows you to place your voices on top of an audio track.

I'm not that great an actor, but I do all of the male voices for my movies so recording a line is a moments work foro me. If you have need of an English accent, just let me know

Nice. It turns out that I already have Audacity installed. I installed it a while back to record cassette tapes to mp3. I take it that if I want to use it to record something from Ventrillo I'd just set it to use "wave" as the input and I'll be golden. Thanks Shackleton.

Ok, then you film haha! I love to edit. It seems that I always poke around about filming different parts cause I'd rather be editing. Oh well, ideally we'll each need to film our own part. This also means that we'd all need to use FRAPS, so that the quality stays consistent.
