In view of the fact that duration is soooo short, are they worth getting an ADEPT III or is ADEPT I good enough? Everytime I have used it, it wears off so quickly as to be useless unless I just spam it and then I can't do anythijng else. I solo a lot and haven't found it very useful.

Combine a silence with our daze (Ego line) and you have effectively disabled the mob for 7 seconds. The silence has a duration of 14s, the daze a duration of 7s, so cast the silence first, then the daze. The mob can still move around, but the former prevents it from casting and the latter prevents it from autoattacking. I use this all the time in my stunlock rotation, and throw it in from time to time to maintain Perpetuality. So yes, in short, it is worth upgrading to A3 reduce resists. I'd put it at the back of the line for M1 upgrades, though.
