<p>Hello,</p><p>We lost the previous thread for known issues in the move over to the new forums system, so I am restarting this thread.  As part of our commitment to improving the service, we are currently working on a patch which should be published late this month or early next month.  Our primary goal is bugfixes on this patch.</p>

also some guilds that formed up a week or two ago dont show up when searching for them

Curious why some of the features that are "under consideration" were in the old eq2players, when you said no features would be removed?

<p>I'd also like to know why we can no longer view our own information on our accounts which was the standard prior to this 'upgrade' and now I have to pay to see my own achievements?</p><p>I know this was the way it was originally, but it was changed several months ago that would allow anyone who paid for the service to open up their stats to anyone and everyone would have access to their own.</p><p>I have to say this attempt at nickel and diming us for services is getting a weeeeeeeeeeee bit old.</p>

I would just like for my stats to be updated, it looks like they haven't been since the 3rd of Febuary, still listing as level 58, yet I'm now 62....  Curiously, it is still updating my Tinkering skill level.

I started a new account last week (Thursday I think?) and my character (Jenarie on Unrest) still doesn't show up at all.  When I load the game, I can play the character but it says no characters found on the screen to the right.  My EQ2 Players has a little box where I think my characters should be listed but it only says " No Characters used" I was supposed to get a free trial to all the features for the new account but as far as I can tell not even the standard features are working?  My character is level 16/20 now and has been played every day but still doesn't come up on the search so as far as EQPlayers it doesn't exist.  I'm wondering if there is something I can do to fix this.  I was looking forward to seeing all the features to decide if I want to order the service but so far it isn't looking very good. Thanks!

Hi, I like EQ2players features and u doing great job with it. If u can fix the bugs in next release it will be good. I especially hate these bugs: there arent images if I load page and if I click on locale flag (I expect that its point 5, but if not pls take a look on it), there are still missing some of them and strings before titles is also very frequent. I want also report new: I cant see my full screen images from gallery (there are small thumbnails, but when I click on them only black screen appear).

Request: exact same guild roster as it was before (each column sortable when being clicked), columns of (not in the exact order as below): 1. rank name 2. name 3. adventure class 4. adventure level 5. artisan class 6. artisan level 7. contributed guild status 8. solved quests 9. ratio kills/death I might be mistaken about how it was in the past, but this is what I liked most <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>Guild chat is still not working for me. Is this still an issue being worked on or is it a case it is going to work for some and not others?</p><p>Secondly, and I don't know if this is an EQ2Players issue or not, we can still not link to our guild website if it is external to the EQ2 domain. Any chance this is being worked on or is there an existing procedure whereby we can incorporate our website link on the guild listings as we were able to on the original incarnation of EQ2Players? </p>

Additional items not mentioned in the OP: 1. Date field missing on tradeskill history page. 2. Profile | Skills lists bogus values for most (if not all) skills. 3. Profile | Skills looks "bloody awful" in IE6 and not very well in Firefox (v1.0.<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. 4. The Rankings page does not list the correct count of server/world discoveries. (Janthia/Guk should have 1 server and 0 world, not 0/0) 5. The Rares Harvested rankings do not match the various leaderboards.  The values in class server, class world, all server, and all world would appear to be completely bogus. (e.g. Janthia/Guk has found 201 rares -- the character rankings lists her as 510 among swashbucklers on Guk - Best in Class lists her as 35 -- which, if either, is correct?) 6. The Guild Summary no longer has a link to see the various rankings among fellow guildies. (Janthia/Guk quest count is #2 in guild, AFAIK -- pre-EoF I could easily check this -- now I cannot) 7. Under Profile, the "last time played" appears to be wrong at the current time. (02/16/2007 06:03PM Central Time - Web site shows Janthia/Guk last played on February 3, 2007.  I know I played on February 10, 2007 because I ran out of adventure vitality on my conjuror alt and switched over to Janthia). 8. There is no preview mode for forum posts!? The items that "bug" me (from most to least) are #6, #1, #4, #2 (OP), and #5.  In fact, the lack of an in-guild ranking page sorely tests my ability to continue to rationalize paying extra for premium features.  The longer this situation persists, the more likely I am to cancel the extra features.

<p>Wow, Achroi, that was the nicest way I've ever seen anyone write "Quit ignoring us and fix your site."</p><p>Lets wait to see what they come out with in their fix due out late this month/early next month before we mug them. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>I hope it justifies the 2 and a half months or so it will have been from the last update to EQ2Players.  But, yes, I want my internal guild rankings and ability to sort by more than just rank and class back as well.</p>

I just don't feel like I'm getting what I pay for.  I would love to have been a fly on the wall at the meeting where they decided to revamp the EQ2 Players.  Someone says, "Let's get rid of any way to see all of a guilds members listed together with their status, KVD, quests, tradeskills, levels, and rank all in one page" and everyone there said, "Wow, why didn't I think of that".  Thanks again fellas.

I have a station pass, yet now when I go to look up a spell (and yes I am logged in) it says I need to be a station pass member!  (which as i stated I am)  And I get an option to upgrade (which takes me to proof I am a station pass member <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Things that should be added as bugs: 1) The XML feed is not XML, it's HTML...  Saving the XML feed to disk and opening it in a text editor reveals that the data contains HTML codes (such as <PRE&gt<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />, and has quotes replaced by HTML meta-entities.  Sounds like the XML feed goes through an HTML output generator, making it totally useless as a regular parser can't do anything with this - the XML output should be sent unprocessed. 2) The CSV feed is messed up too.  The file doesn't load correctly into CSV-capable applications such as OpenOffice Calc.  Loading the resulting CSV file in a text editor and enabling the display of non-visible characters (Textpad allows this - many other text editors probably do as well) reveal that:  - The sex field contains a carriage return, four spaces and two tabs instead of any data (is that Morse code? <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  - The Name field also starts with two tabs, four spaces, then two tabs, and finally the actual Name  - First line of the whole file is a carriage return - the first line should begin with the actual field names, with nothing before them There is also the matter of missing data (which IS available through a different XML feed available at a different URL, proving that the data is readily available to the EQ2Players website to expose), but that would count as 'new features wished'.  I'd be happy if the first two items were at least fixed, as they are actual bugs preventing proper use of these two features.

<p>The two biggest issues I have with EQ2 are to do with the guild website functionality (or rather, lack of).</p><p>1. 'Login loop' - sometimes I can log in, sometimes not. When I can't, I get into a loop. Enter login (correctly) - return to enter login page. Over and over. Sometimes I can go back to the original page, login again and works - sometimes not. This has been this way for me and many others for MONTHS, with no feedback.</p><p>2. 'Â' characters appearing on guild websites. Seems to be related to the use of the Windows Clipboard. Customer Support totally unsupportive. Please fix, getting old.</p>

I've been checking My toon's total wealth since the beginning of this month and his ranking at 12th hasn't changed at all. He also has leveled since that time and it shows that he's still a lvl 17.  When is this going to be corrected??</span>

So.... are you guys ever planning on updating the leaderboards now that I'm paying you another $0.99 a month on top of the two Station access accounts and the two other standard accounts in my house? Or are you planning on the standard SOE gameplan of waiting til you get to a certain financial plateau to actually fully implement the services you promise.

<p>Off-topic since this is now March...</p><p>I've stumbled across a new version of the guild forums. Which indicates that there's finally some activity behind the scenes, which is good... but there's clearly very little in the way of notification about these changes, which is bad.</p><p>And I've just spent the last hour composing a new article for the guild's forum, and I hit 'submit' and got 'access denied', which is VERY bad <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>Fortunately I did select the text and I hit control+c to copy it to the Windows clipboard. So all is not lost.</p><p>/em head back to try to navigate back to the guild forums again. Which at present seems totally impossible.</p><p>'You are in a maze of twisty passages, all alike'...
