Farewell brothers

My time in EQ2 has come to a close, if not forever, then certainly for quite a few months. I've seen every corner of the game and killed every mob I've mustered the will to, it's just not fun to log in anymore. I'll spare you all the typical rant, as I'm sure anyone who has been playing even half as long as I have knows the state of the game and the Mystic class, so there's nothing much to tell. I wish you all the best of luck. I'll be taking it easy in Vanguard for a while. Not because I'm a rabid vanboi (vangrrl?) or even because I think it delivers on all the hype we've heard the game the past couple years. I just need a change of pace and scenery. I'll be over on Shidreth if anyone else is playing. Shoot me a PM here <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. Take care, Mystique

<p>Fully understand your pain Mystique.....</p><p>Compared to the defiler, we have half the healing potential (I mean come on, Ive seen defilers get 1200HPS.....mystics are lucky to see 600).  They can achieve 900DPS without even doing AA for it, we need to go full dmg AAs to get that.    Our class is so slow.   But what gets me the most........is EVERYTIME we get something that is sort of good, its either Nerfed (Bolster, SoW AA to name a few)  or other classes get something similiar...but better (Ancestry for example)  I swear.............Devs must really hate the mystic.    </p><p>I mean, when I heard of stat caps being raised.  I was like sweet...............maybe we can buff like the defiler now.......NO.  SoE introduced diminishing returns............Well, there went our STA buffs completely since most tanks can hit like 600-700 sta on their own now.  (Raid equipped ones)  Its really pointless to play anymore.   Yes.......next level cap raise I will be betraying to the defiler.  It beats us in EVERY category (well, other then debuffs, but thats only cuz they finally nerfed the defilers uber stat debuff) </p>

Thanks for all the well wishes guys, I miss our little community already <img src="/smilies/c30b4198e0907b23b8246bdd52aa1c3c.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. Currently I'm playing a Blood Mage as my main, with a Dread Knight alt since the ratio of tanks to every other class is like 1 to 3. BM is fun and challenging, it plays like a vampiric Fury, and really what's hotter than that? If you're on Shidreth, PM me here and we can exchange names and chat sometime. I rather like being a nobody again, plus half the server has probably already petitioned to have my name shortened because it's cumbersome to type <img src="/smilies/2786c5c8e1a8be796fb2f726cca5a0fe.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.
