Adornments question

Hey, I bought an adornment that said it could go on primary, secondary and two hand crush weapons. I tried to stick it onto my dual wield crush weapons, and it won't stick. Is Dual Wield not classified as primary and secondary weapons? If not are there any adornments that stick into these? Thanks!

Nope, its not that is duel wield.  There are a few reasons it might not adorn.  Is the adornment a higher level than the weapon? If you have a level 9 weapon you need a level 1 adornment, level 10 won't work.  Also are you a high enough level to use the weapon already?  I couldn't adorn things I wasn't high enough to use, don't know if they've changed that recently though.

Its a level 22 weapon, and a level 20 adornment. I am level 22. The weapon is imbued, though. Perhaps, that is the problem?

Yep - at least in my experience you have to make the choice between imbued or adorned.

Aye, imbued items have the 'Ornate' tag, meaning that an adornment cannot be added. Anytime you see 'Ornate' it cannot be adorned.  Imbued items and some HQ rewards cannot be adorned, I'm fairly certain there are other items out there as well with the 'Ornate' tag.

However, do not despair!  Ilucide, who is working on tradeskills right now, mentioned wanting to make Imbued items Adornable, possibly in GU 32 if I'm remembering correctly.

Good to know Calthine.  I'd heard a rumor but hadn't bothered to look around for details yet.
