While bored at work today, I decided to compare the relic coercer set vs. the fabled set for EoF.  The fabled pants haven't dropped anywhere yet, but based on what I've seen with other class' sets and the numbers from the six pieces of coercer armor that have dropped, I feel I can make some fairly safe assumptions. In terms of stats, there isn't a huge difference between the two.  I expect that the fabled set will have around 190 int total to around 160 int total from relic.  Power/Health from the fabled is about 350-400 more than the relic set (around 1170 compared to 790). The big difference is resists.  The relic set has combined resists of anywhere from 280 (for magic) up to around 1500.  Most are around 1000-1200.  Fabled I predict will have 2500-2900 for resists.  Even with diminishing returns a difference of 1000-2000 in resists makes a substantial impact. Is it worth it?  I would say it is a reasonable upgrade from relic, and isn't a bad upgrade from a mix-and-match of some of the better pieces from KoS.  Odds are there are only 1-3 coercers in any particular guild anyway, so when a piece drops, there isn't a lot of choice who it goes to.

*BZZZT wrong  heheh First the relic sets are HORRIBLE for resistances, plus as a coercer why are you looking at INT anyways?  What are you the uber DPS coercer lol  <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> And dont even say well what about more power?  if any coercer says I need more power, just slap them lol. Secondly the added bonuses to your spells and abilities from first completing the set and second from the chest and legs is something you dont wanna pass up.  The only way to look at it is this,  anyone can get standard relic and yes any guild raiding NOW in KOS can and will get it.  The Legendary sets are ok, good back up gear but the fabeled sets (inner sanctum, freethinkers, emerald halls) will make your class into something to be feared even more so.  Standard relic cant compare to the new item mods, it just cant.  If your a made in full standard relic, i guarantee you, you will be laying on the gound from the next AOE in NEST (lol) because you dont have adequet protection in resists.  Alot of people dont think about that.. they see OMG 38INT and cream themselves, and while the person adding 3k resists to themselves with an item or two lives and the other dies. lol.

heheh, yeah but honestly a coercer should have as default around 7k power, honestly raid gear or not this should be the case, and in a raid group that power should easily peak around 9k, atleast i do and would assume others as well. But in all seriousness, as a coercer the only REAL thing you need to strive for are the relic Legs.  The Focus: Deep Focus -3 seconds recast to that spell along with your AA ability to reduce its recast will help out TREMENDOUS in raids and groups the faster you can cast that.  Relic Legs 100% number 1 priority.
