I will explain this as briefly, but as in as much detail as possible. I am a veteran, who left the game in October, due to technical issues (Hopefully now resolved), and others. I recently decided to THINK about going back onto the game, and downloaded the 'Play the Fae' trial. After playing for a while, I decided to resubscribe, which I have now done. When trying to log on, in the normal manner as I did many months ago, I cannot log into the NON-European Servers. When I load up the EQ2Launcher (Which is PlaytheFae.exe), I cannot change my server, the box where it used to be done (top right of the EULA) is greyed out, which means I can only access European characters, which I do not have, though I am a European, I played on Venekor (I have friends there). My char on Venekor is one that I want, deeply (lvl 64/44 afterall). My THEORY for why it is wrong is because I'm still using the Playthefae EQ2 Loader, I don't have a different one. Logging in through Everquest2.exe (which loads the game strai ght in and asks the log-in before the Character Select screen), gives the same result. Unless there is some useful little tweak to some of the settings in the .ini, or something like that is my only solution to download the whole of EQ2 again (currently in the process, just hoping I might be able to speed the solution from one of your answers). or, do I perhaps have a larger problem? Thanks in advance...

I really do hate to bump, but I feel it necessary, this problem is drivin' me mad.
1. This should be in the technical forum. 2. The launcher is EQ2.exe. Play the Fae is the trial.

Sorry for not placing it in the technical forum, but that place gives me the creeps after their incredible negligence over the VPU Recovery crap. Thanks for answers

Tech support is fine aslong as you have some patiente...

+ the fact that many people read these forums just like we awnsered your question so there isnt a real reason to not post it here.

Well, I'm dearly sorry for any harm that was caused by this being in the wrong forum. I'm however deeply happy for someone giving me the correct answer, far far quicker than it would have been through the technical forum (and, it actually worked)...
