Well... they clearly stated that the old posts would be deleted and reminded everyone multiple times to save their favorite threads. I'm sure a lot of people have done this, and that the various FAQs will be reposted eventually. But yeah, would have been nicer to keep the different sub-boards for trading instead of crowding it all onto one board...

I have tons of guides archived at Soefancom.  I have a copy of my original sticky on my hard drive.  I'm also having a LOT of Real Life this week and I just got a part-time job, so please be patient! If you have a guide saved, post it or archive it over on Soefan.com and PM me the link (so I don't miss it).  I *will* get our info back up, I swear.  Hopefully later today.  I'd hoped to do it last night, but frankly?  I was watching Heroes and Studio 60 :p

Yeah, I hope that editing posts becomes a future feature.  Sometimes, my hands and my mind are not aligned. I'd like a spell checker too.  I think the good thing about these new boards are that they can upgrade them and add features.

<p>I don't mind so much losing the discussions, there was little that can't be recreated over time.  What upsets me was losing the places to have TARGETED discussion regarding class issues.</p><p>Why don't they just consolidate all of the adventure class forums into their 'archtype' since no single forums is incredibly active?  OR better yet, just move them all to the combat and gameplay forums, which is in effect what they did to us.</p><p>Now we will have more crap here and will have to spend more time either hunting for information regarding our class or in some cases miss answering or getting answered some question because it got bumped off the page before someone who would understand the question can answer it.</p>
