I just bought EoF, why won't it let me start as a fae?

I hope this is in the right place. I just installed EoF a few days ago, and after updating my entire computer (graphics card, memory, etc) I play EQ2 and it won't even let me select a fae. I know EoF is on here, because when its loading theres a big screen that says EoF. Whats wrong?

Did you actually add the product key to your account (if you had a prior EQ2 account)?
