/sigh Am I ever NOT confused?

    Ok, few things, and would like answers from high end raiding mystics please. One, scattered dust armor...is it worth it? The real question, is 18 second Torpor worth having sub-par gear in you chest, legs, and (currently hands, soon to be feet) slot? I had to equip my doomseer gloves since no one is ever up for Acadechism anymore so I can't get my dumb boots. Second, still wondering about AAs. Mystic line I'm filling out 5 on every one in the augmentation line then putting the rest in immunities. Mostly confused about Shammy AAs. I raid, I'm in a raiding guild, I don't solo, I want to raid...I want to be specced for best possible raid Mystic I can be. I've pretty much concluded putting 8 in heal crits is a necessity, so I'm wondering what I should do with my other one. Its currently 4-4-5-8-1 in Str right now, and I don't mind dogdog (who the heck came up with calling it dogdog?) too much. Recently, I think it was Banditman that got sick of dogdog and switched to something else. So I'm thinking next most important thing would prob be wis line and put 8 in that resistant one, and I'm also thinking to 100% my melee crit to up my DPS some. Instant cures dont' seem to great, 37% increase = so-so + I use a shield (The Cloister) atm. So... it would be nice if I could get some more advice, thanks a bunch.

<p>Some random answers:</p><p>Scattered dust armor sucks and cant be used for raiding, period. I dont think the effect will apply to torpor as it is not considered a ward by the game mechanics. Even if it were the answer would be no. To use doggy I would say it's a requirement to go end line ability in str if u dont want to resummon it after each fight. My point being that Immunities are pet related (buff on the pet) so it's useless if the pet dies. To "respec from doggy" you would have to keep to abilities that is not dependant of the pet being up such as agi, sta (some) and wis (second). I am gonna be 4-4-6-8-2 (more or less) in str & agi after the AA change for fun and profit <img src="/smilies/e8a506dc4ad763aca51bec4ca7dc8560.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>Work out what grp you are likely to be in and see what other raid shammies are up to.  As MT shammie it is still difficult to see any option better than STR and INT - particularly for the dogdog ward, virulence and the extra resists all round.  If i found myself in the OT grp 1st i'd give up (I have an ego problem/deep seated insecurities/low boredom threshold), second I'd respec for solo entertainment  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  </p><p>I doubt Virulence stacks so no point in 2 shammies having it.  On the mystic tree i maxed out the MT buffs (except the wis one) then did combat so i can insta-cast some dps whilst still focussing on wards - the last few points are going into the rez heal and rez speed ones.  The cure ones are really uninspiring and i let droods cure anyway <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>Scattered Dust is pretty poor.  I would never aim to wear it for the 3-6 item buffs but there are items with some high resists, particularly +magic - I carry a full set around to swap in whenever i need.</p><p>Ecoskii - 70 Mystic</p><p>Unity - Splitpaw</p>

Kk, good info people. First of all, that excel thing was fricking awesome great job to whoever made it. While bored, I noticed that even though it does increase torpor by 8 seconds, it also increases the re-ward/HoT time also... So... (Wow, it edits that word... gonna have to nerf it down to Darn) I wanted to keep agi...dumb MT defiler always out HPSing me /grumble. (Wow, it edits that word... gonna have to nerf it down to Darn) it wanted that 100% melee crit too... hmm... need to use that achievement calculator real fast... Also, did they just nerf our SoW down to 40% so that with Jboots we're not even as fast as the Djinn carpet?
