Alright so I tried to read through alot of the posts about being exilied but I keep finding mixed messages and am unsure what really happens. First off the reason I'm interested in exiling for is to worship the deity Rallos Zek. Now when I exile do I lost my master spells? My aa ability points? My adept spells? Faction points? Seems kinda harsh to me...god knows I spent tons of plat on buying all the masters I curretly own. Just need someone to shed the light on all the downsides to being exiled. Thanks in advance =)

P.S. Incase it makes any differnace I'm a level 48 Halfelf Ranger.

You don't lose anything while in exile. You of course are KOS to both Freeport and Qeynos however. You DO lose ALL your masters and adepts upon conversion to the city of your choice (those are all reset to Apprentice I level) i.e. - if you betray to Freeport you will become an Assassin once you finish the faction quests and all your combat arts will be reset to assassin arts at Appreentice I level. Hope this helps.

Going into exile would allow u to worship both good & evil aligned gods. As mention by the previous poster you will become kill on sight by both Qeynos & Freeport guards. You will not lose your masters or adept3s ect... unless u go from exile back to Qeynos or betray to Freeport as an Assassin. You will receive a "Call to Haven" once you exile which replaces your "Call of Qeynos". In Haven you do have access to tradskilling & to a fence (not broker so you are paying higher prices) but there are no houses/inn rooms in Haven which you can obtain. To obtain a home/inn room while in exile you must gain faction with a court in Majdul, once you have done this you will also reveice a new call & will be able to obtain a house/inn room. The biggest draw back I have seen from going exile is that you can no longer purchase AA resets from a NPC so if you have alreay used your freebie resets & you are exile you are stuck with them where they are. Sorry if I was long winded. Hope this helps answer some questions you had

Cahvanon, 70 Ranger, Oasis, Genesis

Drevkrol, 70 Defiler, Oasis, Genesis

Helps aton thanks for all the info...meh doesn't it seem alittle harsh to take away all masters / adepts when you rejoin one faction or the other. One other question, if I were to go into exile and worship Rallos would I be able to rejoin Qeynos and still keep him as my Deity? Or would I lose that option seeing as how hes an evil God.

I think that happens becuz rangers and assassins dont have the same skills. Those that are the same, though I dont think there are any for those 2 classes, would remain the same status. So say you have Triple Shot as a ranger and you fully betrayed to assassin and that class also has Triple Shot, that skill would remain Master I, Adept3, or whatever it was before you betrayed. Or so I've heard. Any corrections guys?

I actaully took my Defiler to exile then back to Freeport. His class remained the same but he DID loose all his masters/adept3s ect. So regardless if you change you class or not when you betray/return to your starting city you will loose them, unless they have changed this since I betrayed my defiler which was about 2 weekz after EoF launched.

Also, I have been told if you go exile & worship an evil god such as Rallos then go back to Qeynos you would no longer be able to worship him tho I believe you could still use the diety cloak if you completed the quests & obtained it, but I have not verified this personally.

Cahvanon, 70 Ranger, Oasis, Genesis

Drevkrol, 70 Defiler, Oasis, Genesis

Just in case anyone was wondering....if you change from Qeynos to Kelethin you will retain all your CA's at the level you have them at before moving cities.

I live in Exile. I love it. I have Zek as my diety. And you guessed it, it was for the cloak and miracles. They are free dps & damage. The proc DOES work off Ranged as well as melee. And it accounts for 3+% of my total dps in zone wide parses.

You DO NOT lose any masters if you stay in Haven. You only lose them if you go Fleeport, or Kelethin or back to Queernos. Since I have every master I was asking around and researching this before I exlied, like you.

You can "move" to Kelethin and not lose anything, but DON"T do the betrayl then try and get into Kelethin. The you will lose your masters.

My house is in MajDul. I have Call of Haven(replaces CoQ) and Call of Ro(quest done once you have access into a Court in MD) you CAN use the AA reset npc's in your "orginal" city BUT you have to raise your faction back up to +10k up from -50k, it takes some work, but wasn't bad. The carpet by SS docks takes me straight to TS docks, from there you can go anywhere. I use the broker in Mara or rely on guildies for supplies. lots of crafters are nice. There is a bank in Haven and one by the docks in Mara..

Also, you keep your prefix titles but lose ALL you suffixes. Well can't use them anyway. Your stuck with "the Exiled" as a perma suffix. OH and this is a big one.. Once you Exile, you CAN NOT finish Claymore series. So finish that first or don't bother. I think thats about it. If I remember anything else I'll add it...

edited for type-o's
