You know if Irras had not cheated Dracas would have CRUSHED him.

Haha, yeah? Care to put it to a vote? I say Irras wins fair and square. After all, is it really cheating when your whole family is gone?

Irras, I am so happy that this movie has been a success for you. I know how it feels to create a movie with all of ones heart and also have it drain of their energy. This is the best video out of all your creations by far. And I am not saying this because I got to help voice act and be a part of it. It is true and I have seen this movie three times now at least and I always cry at the end. I love the music selection, the voices, the special effects and the story is something I would never expect. Like many of us have said already, THIS is worth the download. And SOE, please DO Treasure Chest this. I would be so sad if it wasn't.

ok, just because i absolutely love these lines...i vote these 2 lines the best in the movie:

"Let's Finish this!" - Irras Locksheon in his battle with Dracas Bloodweaver

and

"You should REALLY deal with me first! We have business! Let's see how immortal you really are!" - Alistair, with his sword drawn behind Harte Nox'Alere's back. (this line just blows me away every time i hear it...you did an awesome job man)

These two parts are like, the pinnacle of emotion in their respected places...just love em!

This is such an awesome piece of artwork. From the opening song (30 seconds to mars rocks) to the ending battle, I was in awe. The music, voiceovers, and filming is just mind blowing. I really like how everyone was in character. And Harte makes me wet lol. The big cat noises that he makes were just so cool! I'm going to link this to my guild. You guys have set a very high bar. One of the best EQ2 movies I have seen. Please do another one someday PS-your music video at the end is kick [Removed for Content]!

Courtesy of Zemfira, the movie is now in a lower quality version which can be viewed streaming via Youtube. So for those of you who were looking at a 200+mb download and thinking "no way", now you have no excuses!

To view the movie head back to the original post, and click on the Wayvphorm Studios link. Don't forget to post your comments back here, and thank Zemfira. Do keep in mind however if you want to see a very high quality version (which I worked so hard on!) you'll need to download it! I've noticed that even some of the best movies simply fade away in these forums, but I'm proud to see so many downloads and comments! Thanks!

PS. I'm trying to get it hosted on Machinima, but they seem to be experiencing some technical issues. I've submitted it twice, and written them as well, but no responces. And Norrath's best High Elf says: That was a wonderful movie! (too bad im not in it) Bravo!
Oh man, this sounds fantastic. But I don't want to watch the lesser version on youtube. When I click the filefront link, it takes me to the general filefront.com url. Any suggestions?
Well that's not good. Somehow filefront stealthily deleted the file. I'll rehost it there tonight, and I'll fix the link. Check back tomorrow.

How on earth could I have missed this?! My only reasoning is that I must have thought it one of the previous episodes.

Irras this is simply outstanding. You have outdone even yourself on this one! The camera angles, quality of shot, thought behind emotions, lighting.. it goes on and on! For me of particular note were the spell effects off Irras's staff, the blue spell effect from Dracas and zoomed out images of the explosion. The whole of that fight was awesome and the 360 shot just helped to build the tension!

I watched your previous episodes again before watching this and I recall screaming "noooooooo" at the pc when the last one came out and finished with 'what have we here....' lol

I also recall having a power cut on the day that filming for the fight scenes were due. Boy was I yelling at my electric company that day... didnt they know I had a film to be in! hehe.

A couple of movements have got me wondering on how you did them... first Nicholai falls to his knees when he is bought up in front of Dracas (Tristans woman also did this at the end in front of their bed)... and Renna's actions as she is bitten by Harte, she is struggling and shaking her head - I would be so grateful to know how you did these

Once again, thank you for THE best eq2 movie to date! Treasure Chest for sure but this deserves more. It has guaranteed goose-bumps!

Moriane

aw man, still no go. Should I cave and watch the youtube vers?
How can you stand the suspension? hehe
It's not easy, boy howdy. But I want to get the full slap in the face the first time I see it

I knew I'd forget. Uploading takes two hours, so I had planned on doing it while I slept. Well anyway, I'll go ahead and upload it now. Kinda urks me that they pulled the file without sending me the email first, but oh well. The show must go on.

There, the link is now fixed. Enjoy! And don't forget to post your comments! Thanks!

I was about to offer Kreep a free smack round the chops while he watched hehe

Irras please please tell me how you got the falling to the knees... PM me.. anything! hehe

Mori, you can smack me around whenever you like Begin smacking at your leisure! Okay, Irras, I'm only 8.5 minutes into the video and I have to post something now. Two things. First, the sound quality is absolutely fantastic. The effect distinction between thought and spoken dialogue is a great idea and done very well. The sound quality of the spoken dialogue itself is perfect! I use ventrillo to record my people and myself, but it is OFTEN of poor quality. I open EQ2 and use Fraps to record the sound. Is there anything you would be willing to reveal about your voice recording? Mic technology, capturing and editing software/method, etc? Anyway, the voice work is great, too. I'm enjoying the pacing of the first conversation between Trenton and his dark elf lover. You got lucky with your voice talents, indeed. Actually, I'm looking forward to showing off some of my castmates in my upcoming video, too. I think we were both fortunate to get enthusiastic and talented participants. Praises to them for their dedication and skill! The second thing I have to mention is a mutual parallel I noticed between 2 of our projects. I was working on my video, The Recidivist, and I watched your first two Transition Chronicle videos, noting several similarities in the plot, including a nasty dark elf and other things. Well, about 8 minutes into Revolutions, it is revealed that Trenton is EXILED. Oy. This struck me, since I um... well, you'll see when you watch the sequel to The Recidivist. I just HAD to say, though... I assure you I stole nothing from your stories!! I swear it on the life of every puppy everywhere in the world! I am no plagiarist! Whew, a relief to get that off my chest. lol. Anyway, I've gotta get back to watching it, now. Awesome, so far...
Okay. Wow. The vampire bite. The scene with the bats. The Cloak changing colors, infusing with a flame power. The 360 screenie incorporated into the last fight, then turning into the ripple nuke type effect. The shaking/blurring of the camera for the roaring/stampede shots. The shot of whats-her-face on the balcony, that zooms out. And much much more. Just fantastic, Irras. Well done

I swear it on the life of every puppy everywhere in the world! I am no plagiarist! Whew, a relief to get that off my chest. lol.

The method I use for recording voices is one line at a time. Every actor involved would send me their .wav file containing a sentence or two. Each line was recorded in the Windows Sound Recorder. START>Programs>Accessories>Entertainment>Sound Recorder. I sent each actor instructions on how to record at the maximum quality. After I recieved their file, I imported it into a program called Cool Edit Pro 2.1. (Now called Adobe Premier) This software allows you to select background noise from a clip, and remove it from the file leaving only the voice.

P.S. I believe you Looking forward to seeing your movie!

...wow. AWESOME job!!
So what's next for you Irras?
swpj wrote:
So what's next for you Irras?

Well, nothing in the near future. I've thought about maybe doing a music video. I've heard some inspiring songs lately. My wife had me thinking about a musical movie (with all of us singing!) but, at the last moment, she got cold feet It still might happen one day though. Right now my EQ2 account is just floating in limbo. I've pretty much done all there is to do, so I've been taking a break. I'm eagerly awaiting the new skeletal models SoE promised. I just want my character to look different now. Atm, I've been playing Vanguard. It's an amazing game, but I can't see myself doing Machinima for it. The character models lack the emotion of EQ2's.

For now however, I'm still stalking the threads out of habit And I have greatly enjoyed all of your feedback. It's great to see this thread is still one of the top 5 threads on the Fan Art section. Thank you all!

It plays an entire song, then there's about 2 minutes of silence. After that another song plays, but it's still on the same track. The part you hear in the movie is the second part.
