<div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div>A few guilds crashed in EH this weekend. For anyone who doesnt know, this zone has endless amounts of trash and for a new guild it may take close to 3 days to complete. It is my opinion that the better guilds will have it down to 8 hours soon enough. That being said, my guild, Strike, was up to the second floor and had been in there about 3 hours when the entire zone crashed and booted us all out to Lesser Faydark. We spoke with a GM and he said there wasnt anything he could do for us. If it were any other zone we likely would have been done in that 3 hours time. The problem is fairly obvious, it is a very long zone and as such allows for more error, like crashes. A myriad of guilds have crashed and been forced to suffer the lockout. <P>we cleared tier 1 last night was set up for tier 2  zone just crashed on us sitting there. so now we are locked out with only 1 tier completed. This is bull[I cannot control my vocabulary]. NM your new encounter  i hear crashed 3 EH's last night upon reseting after wipe. Fix your [I cannot control my vocabulary] or lose another 30 customers. They did not test the new named they added into this zone, if they did, then they would have known what actually happens when you pull him.Testing on Live servers FTW.<div></div>

Lag sucks it is true but 10-15s is not bad at all for that mob. It can be dealt wtih and I do agree it sucks that that is whats holding people back. Last night we went through with a full minute of a spike. Pretty [I cannot control my vocabulary] horrible

<DIV>Well, the mob used to cause 5-10s lag when the charm broke. Crappy, but doable. Now, you know exactly when the charm STARTS ( the game freezes)  when it ends (the revive screen is up). There is no moving your toon through the lag, there is no casting...there is nothing except a picture of EQ2 on my screen.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Like I said before, you would need EXTREME LUCK to make it through this encounter as is.</DIV>

Luck yes, extreme no. I mean it charms 6 people, we have 4 fighters holding aggro for the most part one of us is not charmed and if we are then snarks grabs it <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<P>So yeah the lag sucks but we got a response from a GM saying we all went linkdead at the same time viewing the logs that is probalby what he saw and i can undertand that response. Now what actually happened is we  all got kicked to character select. There was 18of us in zone standing between tier 1 and 2 in the valley most afk others doing portable tradeskill stuff or talking and what not on vent.  So might be someting worth looking into if there is a bug with eh that makes it blink from time to time. This happend saturday afternoon about 3-4pm cst btw if a dev wishes to look into it further. <P>Splitting EH into 3 seperate zones with access quests completed by killing the nameds wouldn't be the worst idea ever.</P>

You only want the zone available to the "uber guilds" or guilds that have 3 years to complete a zone?</P> <P>My Guild finally got down the Tarniax on Friday night and let me just say that it is a shame 95% of the players in the game will miss out on this content. I have no issue with zones being difficult but anything that "needs" more than 5 hours is too long.</P>

<div></div>Yepps, anything to help with these lags blocking progression ... we got kicked out last week when Guk crashed so it was game over for us as well then /sightAbout the lags, I really hope sony will solve these issues, imagen once more guilds start to do EH on weekly bases and u have like 5 -6 guilds in there on a weekend, LAG + the encounter script chram lag thinggybob = why would anyone bother ... <div></div><p>Message Edited by SinIsLaw on <span class=date_text>02-06-2007</span> <span class=time_text>10:21 AM</span>
