<DIV>Ok, I really dont care what the high end raid guild's think of this post. The drop rate for relic armor's in labs suck's!!!!! Relic is a great starting point for raider's, we have been in lab's every week for month's and relic hardly ever drop's. We want to tackle more endgame content but how? I f we can't even gear out the raid force with starting fabled relic armor's how can we go to lyceum or hos or finish dt acsess. We can't and that is unfair to all casual raid guild's who actually have a life and can't raid contested and stay on eq2 24/7. We raid 3 time's a week and seem's like we are treading water. All in all some of the top worldwide guild's whined enough to get soe to lower the rate of drop's in lab's in order to secure thier spot's to own all contested mob's and so no other guild's could come up and mabey have a shot at some better loot. I know alot of guild's worldwide are with me here, let's see how many step up and say something. Sony, please make the drop rate's on relic more fair!!!!</DIV>

Labs can be hit or miss. I have gone in there before, and we have all walked out empty handed. Likewise, after a run in the zone, the raids I have been in have walked out with a ton of goodies.I was there a little over a week ago and walked out with relic bracers and a Nightchord tunic./shrugI also think it is wayyy unfair of you to sit there and presume all high end raiders don't have lives. But that's just me. It looks like you made this post with the intent of ticking off raiders. It's one thing to say "I want the relic drop increased please." It is a whole otther to say "Raiders suck, give me more relic now."<div></div>

first off, you can kill all nameds in lab with full mastercrafted / adept 3's......those named kill's will give you lots of fabled gear.....second, go to eof, get your legen set gear, it beats the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] out of relic.and yes, relic drop rate did get nerfed... who cares? relic got nerfed, and dont come with its fabled and thats why you need it, cause there's far better treasure /legen gear out there that doesnt come from raids.....<div></div>

You could kill tarinax without a piece of fabled gear on now for crying out loud. :smileysad:</div>On the flip side, if you actually tried to raid contesteds with crappy gear you'd probably get your [Removed for Content] handed to you. Adept 3's and random legendaries from the various 6 man's. Mostly you want a tank or two build up in t7 instance legendaries. Eof set works nicely too. You don't have to clear labs to be successful but you certainly can get up to Lord V without much a problem. Gear is only the support of the battle, teamwork and focus control if you win or wipe.

I just went to Labs yesterday and it seemed like every other mob was dropping a big chest, including relic. I've been in Labs a time or two when we only got a small number of sorry drops throughout.I have to say, I am not in possession of a full suit of relic. At the moment, I have three pieces: the helm, pants, and as of last night, the boots. Several of my armor pieces come from the really pretty cool stuff that drops in the Claymore questline. My breastplate, gauntlets, an earring and my neckpiece dropped in Labs, as did my fabulous new sword. I have a ring from Den of the Devourer (a group instance, natch!). There is more to Labs than relic. You just have to keep raiding there, over and over and over. Sometimes the drops will suck, that's just the way it is when a RNG is in the equation. But also get your raid group in gear to go do the Claymore quests - the stuff that you get for the various quests along the way is really pretty darn nice too, and you get a LOT of it for one-groupable quests.</div>

<DIV> We've been clearing Lab pretty much since 8/06, got Vyemm in 09/06. These are the number of relic drops for our raids. As you can see, it bounces all over the place. As others have said, there are other options with armor with EoF, although I still use a mix of Relic and Doomrage. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Hope this helps. It's just random. Keep doing it, you'll have good nights, too. The EOF class sets are very nice upgrades so farm those zones every day with your guild. In fact many pieces are better than relic.

Yeah man its all random. You guys can do EoF zones to get really good gear and be able to do most of the KoS raid zones. I cant speak for all the classes but with the release of EoF, Relic is only a small (but significant) upgrade for guards. At the moment i run with class shoulders hands and forearms with relic leggings and class helm from KoS. We clear up to the last guy in lyceum and Labs with that setup. I dont know if you guys are having trouble spend more time in instances.<div></div>

And those should be enough to get u geared up for the big things.</DIV>

Labs drop rate as said is sporadic. I have been in there on a full raid and seen zero relic, and this has happened more times than I will admit. There have been times I have been in there and seen tons. The drop rate isn't like Monica Lewinsky, anyone can get it. hehe * I had to put my joke in* Just keep plugging away at it mate and you will get the pieces. <div></div>

I'm not even a raider and dont pretend to know a lot about raiding but we have cleared the trash in there consistently with 2 groups and less before on the odd times I've done it. Not seen much in the way of loot though. At least not yet.
