Lycuem - Priest of thule (25% - 0 he is harder then any npc in the game, and bugged with mutiple stances - devs looking into the stance issue - but should be rebalanced possibly and set so you cant pull him out of the pit)Deathtoll - Amorphious drake - once he splits into 2 goo's he has not been rebalanced for EoF he hits every hit for 5k+ the Uberest guilds on the server avoid him. Deathtoll - Cruor Alluvium his AE kills you so fast you can't cure it. The milisecond its on us we cure and we all fall over dead. Status anti AE helps *some* but it should not be required tactic as the only way to win. If he AE's even once everyone dies. Clockwork Menace factory - Tzikla can kill your entire raid without even tell you why your raid is dieing. We thought it was your mana going lower then half from what you started the fight at but the last 3 attempts I gained mana and we still all died. Then I thought maybe if anyone on the raid goes below half it would AE and kill everyone so we tried that no luck... Then we thought ah ranged so we made a tank plant (root) where it spawned and had everyone else WAY back still everyone fell over dead with no message of how we died. Example from my perspective: Tz hits you for xyz xyz  Tz hits you for xyz fire  TZ hits you for xyzyou add up the xyz's and you get say 11k damage - I was healed/warded for far more then that - but my hitpoints go from full to dead instantly without a reason why. And I gained mana durring the fight. I want to say its bugged... but I haven't tried it like I have with the above 3 mobs. The 3 above I've killed my guild to like 50 times so I can say they are really fubarded... Tz I can only say he is fubared x16 deaths x24people. Anyone know of any other npcs that are totally insane? <div></div>

<DIV>Vilucidae is bugged (with stances), and the blobs *maybe* need some tuning.  The rest of the mobs are working fine, though.  You need to figure out how to do them properly is all.</DIV>

I can cure myself from Cruor's AE just fine. And I have no Cure Noxious spell. Here's a tip, get everybody hooked up with Cure Noxious Potions. AE Hits, and everybody should be INSTANTLY hitting those. There should be no delay, if there is a delay, you die, which means you need to get a faster reaction time. Or joust the AE(since it does less damage the further away you are from him, which means more time).

<DIV>For the guy in clockwork menace you should notice that everyone in your raid gets hit by curse of insanity. Review what that debuff does, and what the ability of his adds have, and you'll know why you die.</DIV>

<div></div>The only things wrong with Vilucidae is him not reseting his stances should you wipe and the fact that he becomes insanely resistant to debuffs and spell attacks, which in turn lead to him being so difficult the last 25% as he's got few to no debuffs on him and few spell attacks are landing. The drake isn't hard either so long as your healers have both tanks fully prehealed just before they split. You need to divide the debuffing classes 50/50 on both mobs. When the drake splits, it's best to have a Cleric right on top of him throw out his AOE Deaggro which dazes the mob for a couple seconds allowing the tanks to get them split. Kill the virulent first due to the power drain he's got. All is good. I know the top 5 raiding guilds on Kithicor deffinately do not skip this piece of cake.Curor, bah resist gear! You can have someone pull the mob alone to eat the first AOE (we usually use our Monk for this) and once it hits, everyone moves up and goes balls to the wall DPS, we'll dodge the second AOE with Bard / Swash immunities and if the third AOE hits (meaning we're killing too slooowww) we just have to take the hits and do whatever we can to protect ourselves, be it spamming cure pots, super quick healers or leet Conjuror self stoneskin which eats the AOE and 2 successive ticks <span>:smileytongue:</span>CWM, mainly he'll throw curse of insanity on the raid, it drains health when you spend power and if your power reserves start to get low, your head will explode! That and his adds don't spawn exactly at the same time as he does (like a milisecond difference) and they need to be tagged and bagged quickly (killed) because they aoe too. Just back the raid off from his spawn point and my god, kick your healers till they preheal because of the sudden spike damage that named puts out when he spawns.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Supernova17 on <span class=date_text>01-12-2007</span> <span class=time_text>12:15 PM</span>

<DIV>Priest of Thul doesn't leave stances afte first wipe, so wipe twice.  Then he's back to normal, and goes down smooth as butter.</DIV>

wiping twice dosnt seem to help atm, just have to wait it out for the encounter timer to reset itself.

We did DT and Lycaeum as funraids last week with 3 groups. None of the mobs was insanely hard. On the contrary Tarinax seemed insanely easy, it's sad, he was such a toughy in the past, now he is laughable. Amorphous drake was rumored to be harder now than before, but we did not notice anything. Clockwork menace is no problem either, even the chests do not seem to fall through the grate in the floor anymore.<div></div>
