View Full Version : Poet's Palace: normal / hard / very hard versions

<DIV>As a 70 wizard I solo Poet's Palace regularly, trying to get my last Master... Usually I would do the normal version, because I had been told that the more difficult ones really only take longer but have no better chance at loot. The past couple of days, I decided to give them a try, though... and I saw no difference whatsoever between the normal, hard and very hard versions of the zone.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The mobs -- both trash and named mobs -- were exactly the same level, seemed to have the same hitpoints and attacks/spells and, if anything, dropped less loot in the more difficult versions than in the regular one.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, what gives? Is the zone level adjusted by who zones in, so that at 70 I will get the very hard version regardless of choice? Or do I have to be in a group for my choice to make a difference when selecting which instance to go in? <P>i tell ya there is no difference in difficulty at all since its introduction to DoF.</P> <P>back then, before KoS, i used to dirge tank that place easily with a solo healer.</P> <P>we tried the highest difficulty once. we noticed no difference. who best to ask than the healer? well the healer said it wasn't any harder either.</P>

this was one of those things that was intended to be put in, but they never got around to it for one reason or another.  they were going to implement the different difficulties because Poet's Palace was really a pretty easy zone, back then and now, and people always want a challenge.the different difficulties currently have no difference whatsoever.<div></div>
