Going to Qeynos

<DIV>I'm a combat XP off player, but there doesn't seem to be enough quests in Kelethin.  I've got all the quests yellow or orange now so I need more quests to level up.  Right now I'm level 12.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Could someone give me directions to Qeynos from Kelethin, and let me know of any bell fees or anything else I need to know, areas that I might need to go around to avoid getting splatted.  With my old character in the old system, I would max level to 6, run to freeport, do all the quests I could, run back to qeynos max at 10, run to freeport,  rinse and repeat at every level cap.  If I can run through Nek at level 6, I can run through anywhere, but I still need directions.  Thank you.</DIV>

From Greater Faydark, head west to the Butcherblock Mountains, then you need to head to the southwest end of Butcherblock (requires some goofy navigation, but if you're used to GFay, it's nothing new) and as you approach the docks, you'll see there's 2 places for ships to land, with harbormasters. Head to the one on the right, and wait for a ship to show up. Ride it to the Thundering Steppes, and then head west from the docks until you see a valley heading north. Follow that valley and keep pushing north to the griffon tower in the distance, and pass it, following that valley to the door to Antonica. In Antonica, there's pretty much only one way you can go to get to the griffon tower, and take a griffon to the Qeynos Gate.

<P>Yes - the ship is free, although there is a delay of I think about 20 minutes between each ship.</P> <P>What was not mentioned above is that Thundering Steppes and Butcherblock Mountains are level 20-35 zones.  Thunderr Steppes is fairly easy by taking the short cut path on the right (not far from the dock), however Butcherblock Mountains is a bit more difficult to avoid aggro.</P> <P>You can do the trip from Greater Faydark to the docks at Butcherblock Mountains at your level, however without invis you will need to be verrry careful.  I did the trip as a level 8 Fae Beserker and died three times between the entrance to Butcherblock Mountains and the docks.</P> <P>It's a little easier for Fae than the other races because you can try to just sprint through and jump straight off the cliff (provided you don't take damage while you're gliding down).</P> <P>Good luck  :smileywink:</P><p>Message Edited by DarrkElf on <span class=date_text>12-19-2006</span> <span class=time_text>06:40 PM</span>
