View Full Version : Are the devs aware of the insane lag in Castle Mistmoore?

<DIV>I just wanted to comment on it. Most of the EOF zones are extremely laggy and this lag isnt from poor computer systems. Castle Mistmoore, however, is beyond playable. Players are constantly ghosting all over, pulling single groups results in 5-10 second lagspikes, and during combat 5+ second skill lag is normal. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hope this is fixed soon. It is a very cool zone and I think it isnt getting as much use as it could because of the lag issues there. </DIV>

<P>The actual lag doesnt come in until you get that stupid AE where the mob adds 1.5 second cast time to your spells.<BR>Well, it does lag a lot, but gets HORRIBLE whenever the caster mobs do that PBAE. Hope this helps...but this zone<BR>is [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ing [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] right now with its lag</P>

<P>Aye, this zone is extremely laggy when you get 2 or 3 guilds forming up for a raid. </P> <P>Full raid force starts working it's way to the Inner Sanctum zone in......start fighting one group of heroics....big lag spike and POOF!!</P> <P> </P> <P>"Where did all these mobs come from?" I hear over TS.</P> <P>"Blah blah lagged into them" I hear as the reply. </P> <P>Raid wipe on heroics.....</P> <P>Could we possibly have seperate instances to the Inner Sanctum zone in for Raid forces to lessen the lag for everyone in general? 66 characters in close proximity does terrible things to our puters when the computer has to compute all that combat.</P>

<P>I think the lag adds personality to the zone, and makes Mayong more of a challenge.</P> <P>Oh ya and by personality, I mean [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn], and by challenge I mean Impossible... that is all.</P>

They supposedly have put some fixes in, not sure if that helped or not. Last time we went there there were only 48 people in the entire zone both heading to the Inner Sanctum, we ran into them about 1/2 way there and I started to move like Mr. Roboto got lots of hate tells from the other raid group but we couldn't tell where the hell we were going with all the lag. <div></div>

<DIV>I am on Vellek's server and my guild experienced the same lag last night as well. Quite frustrating. </DIV>

Sadly, the lag is the same whether you have a full group in zone or a raid, at least on permafrost. Until the lag issue is fixed, it will be my absolute most despised zone.<div></div>

<DIV>A couple of nights ago we were the ONLY people in the zone (24 people total) and we were lagging so bad we were wiping to the x2's because they'd be pulled on top of us when a scout tried to move behind a mob and lagged all the way up the stairs. We could barely move and heroics were killing healers and casters before people were even able to see them on us. It was annoying as hell. We decided to repair and come back and hit MMIS instead of try the x4's upstairs, and the lag was considerably better (tho some people did have to relog to completely remove the reminants).</DIV>
