<DIV>So last night we finally took down the 2nd Vamp in Freethinkers and I noticed something as the healer assigned to spam trauma cure on the MT.  We had a second tank class close to the mob so both the MT and him were being hit by the debuff at the same time so I knew when it was going up.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>IMO, the lag from that zone is so bad that the MT was being hit for 4-6K chunks ever after I KNEW trauma was cured (He was calling out when it hit and would usually stop saying so mid sentence when it was cured).  If it happened once, OK, maybe it hit right before or whatever but it was almost everytime.  Has anyone else noticed this?  Dealing with lag, linkdeads, and random game errors that shuts down EQ2 is one thing, but when it effects the game experience, it's time to stop messing around with nerfs and balance issues and fix the game.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>On a side note... the helmet (Helm of the Nightstalker) that dropped was the biggest piece of donkey dung I have seen so far in EoF.  It makes the Scalelord helmet look good still, and it's not exactly what I would call progression in regards to gear for EoF.  Please have a look at it.</DIV>

two solutions:1: don't go into freethinkers when 7 other guilds on your server are doing freethinkers.2: don't play eq2 on 56k.The lag in the zone is fine for everyone i've talked to.<div></div>

Here's the solution, figure out that it's not a debuff, and you're a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn].

I think the issue being adressed was not your machine but rather the machine of the person on cure duty...  I know even back in KoS lag could kill ya by missing a cure on a debilitate for too long before gearing up... back when it wasnt so trivial...Id suggest just making sure you have a good connection and a good player on the cure duty... but since you are saying that the tank is calling it and it getting cured before he finishes talking, maybe the lag is on the tank's side of the equation.  I personally havent noticed any great continuous lag, spikes on the otherhand.... wow... Also make sure people are parking the deity pets at zone in or away from fight, and can always turn off the cloak graphics, we got alot of new graphic rendering with EoF so maybe its just that.Octavio70th Templar of VindicateEverfrost<div></div>

<DIV>Yes, Treyloth.  I originated the post while I was at work and didn't know his name.</DIV>

<DIV>So you actually beat this guy, and your strat revolved around chain curing the MT? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think maybe you guys should go try to kill the avatars, hint: Use a random strategy that doesn't apply to the encounter. You might get as lucky as you did on this kill and world first one.</DIV>

<div></div>Yeah, the finger pointer doesn't cast any debuffs. It's a nuke. And it's timeable.Get your MT to find out what's hitting him REALLY hard, every 30s. And time it.Also, a hint: the adds spawning are directly related to that nuke. And adds are completely avoidable. If you need more help, PM me.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Grozmok on <span class=date_text>12-12-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:13 PM</span>
