<DIV>Does anyone know if there's a way to gain points with city factions (ie Tunarian Alliance, Concrdium etc) other than through doing writ quests?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In the Steppes I've been killing centaurs, gaining faction with the Steppes settlers and losing it with the Great Herd. I even travelled to the Commonlands to slay a couple of the Freeport guards thinking a similar thing would happen for my Queynos/Freeport factions, but unfortunately, nothing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Are there any other ways?</DIV>

If there is a way to raise faction with the 4 city factions other than writs.... I'm not aware of it.  For awhile I assumed the status items would do this since you sell differant types to each of the factions, but they are only worth guild status and not faction.

Now you mention it, gaining a small amount of faction (say 1-2%) from selling status loot would be a great idea. I hope SOE consider it!

I betrayed and want to max the faction with freeport =) Since I'm a halfling I baked some jumjum-pie and wanted to bring it to Lucan in the hope to get some faction, but they won't even let me in to give it to him ^^ Anyone has a better idea ?=)<div></div><p>Message Edited by Zahmekoses on <span class=date_text>12-11-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:50 PM</span>

The only way I have found to increase faction with the cities is through writs.  Unfortunely it is boring work after you have done them all once, but it is not bad for guild status. ^_^<div></div>
