I have been doing this event religiously for 3 day straight. It is on a 2hour repop and requires all the mobs to be up.

The all ring events bug when someone yells it off while trianing through zone. Occasionally i get there and see the sculptors are not up which means the rign event is bugged. Don't know why this happens. But i know when i time the pop and clear it. It never bugs on me.

There are ring events that seem broken like the goblin summoners and lvl 30 rock formations. No clue how this one works. The bank vaults is EXTREMELY hard to figure out. Because it requires an explosive which drops off another mob.

if the sculptors are not up and you clear the pool mobs (goblin), do the sculptors pop in 2hrs?

Just tried this tonight and nothing. Sculptors werent up but I thought you had to basically go in and kill the geochanter then three clerics to even get the sculptors to pop. Ive done this ring before and i swear we went in sculptors werent up, so we killed geochanter and clerics and pop they spawned, after a short while the named one popped

we tried that, we killed pool mobs where there was no sculptors. nothing happened, avatar stayed non-agg and the 3rd room rats remained non-agg. the only time we actually got it to work, the pool mobs were up (And aggro), sculptors (including named) were up and non-agg and rats were up and non-agg.we killed the pool and sculptors turned aggro, killed sculptors and rats turned aggro, killed rats and avatar turned aggro.

The Avatar event has been hit and miss over the holidays. Before the break and this morning i have sent PMs to Gallen about the issues I have had.

I would ask the same thing he asked me - More exact details of what you did and did not do.

I have seen twice now, when it is broken, that in the 2nd room in the NW corner (by opening to third room on the altar side) 4 groups of 2 mobs+pet all yellow ^^.

When I am checking the event I will be more careful to check the 2nd room, to see the sculptors are up before the pull. This could be the missing link.

As feedback, I would also like to see the timer reduced to 1 hour to be more in line with Mistmore Catacombs named spawns (Butler and Senechal).

I described above what we did when event worked.

When it didn't work. We checked all rooms first. Non-con rats were up in the 3rd room, the avatar was up in the 2nd room (no sculptors), the pool mobs (goblin inside pool and 4 bugbears around pool) were up in the 1st room.

We had an idea that the sculptors need to be up, so we decided to hang out a bit. We killed all the killable mobs around with the exception of the goblin group in the pool. After about an hour of this, no sculptors still, we gave up. Before leaving, we kill the goblin in the pool. The Avatar shimmered (kinda like despawn and respawn within the same second) but remained non-attackable. We went to the 3rd room to see if the rats in the middle of the room were conned now, but they were not. So we left. I checked back on this event in a few hours and found the same thing as before, goblin in pool, rats in 3rd room, no sculptors.

Hope this helps fix the problem, if you want to knwo anything more specific, feel free to PM me.

goblins around the pool?! There are none. There is only the group of 4 bugbears that spawns around the pool and the couple of groups of (i think) "believers" that are on the side of the room.

When we succeeded, we did not kill any of the side "believer" mobs. We killed the Goblin in pool ( and got green message), this made sculptors aggro, so we killed them (no message), this made rats in room 3 aggro and we killed them (no message), this made the avatar aggro and we killed him (no legendary chest )

in the avatar room, the sculptors consisted of 2 groups, one of which had a named gobling (this was when we did it successfully).

The named sculptor is a random spawn (extra legendary sometimes chest), there is also a named king (random). The key to this event being broken is if the the non agro sculptors are up. Sometimes i don't know why. When i get there they are not up. it is imho that someone must have started and never finished the event ad/or ran by and yelled the event. BUT if i stay there every 2 hours it does reset.

Last night a guild group went in and the sculptors were not up. Killed the first room and no green message. I convinced the group to stick around for a few mins. We cleared the mobs in room #1, then went into room #2 and 3. After about 15 mins the sculptors poped and room #1 repoped. I dont think it had anything to do with the non ring event mobs, just a repop timer.

For the first time, all we got was wood from all the mobs in the event. For the spawn timer being 2 hours this seems wrong. I feel that we should get at least an ornate chest from one group.

Was just trying to do this ring event, have been trying to get the avatar for quite some time now, but have always had a problem with the gobbo's in the avatar room (I have seen them absent for 3-4 hours, then I went to bed )Today however, the gobbos spawned in front of me, and I immediately formed a group for it, within 30 minutes we where fighting the first room. However, exactly 30 minutes after the second room gobbo's spawning they depopped. What? 30 minutes of being up with a good few hours to repop? Is that slightly insane or what?And not even a guaranteed decent drop? I have noticed that trend in all of Kaladim, killed every single ring I could find maybe 3 times each, and I have got a grand total of 1, yes one, ornate chest.Booyah:smileysad:

Welcome to the ring event bug that has existed since Day 1.Yell a mob part of a ring event, kill it. Ring event is now broken until the servers reboot.

Did it again last night - first time out no sculptors up in room#2 - Ring did not advance.

Second time just before bed - Event repopd just as the group was gonna leave with Sculptors up - Event worked with 1 named sculptor. Only Wood - BAH.

I also noticed a new trend last night that I had ignored before - I have seen at least three times a solo cast sitting invis in on corner waiting (to possibly KS) both in room #2 and behind the alter in room #3.

There is an easy way to avoid the KS with encounter locks.

I again would like to suggest the reduction in the repop time. The class gloves that drop, sometimes, are the hardest item out of the set to get due to the timer and bug in the event. I mean even the pants from MM are available on the broker now, but still not on set of gloves.

This may or may not be of any help, but ...I went to have a look at the area one morning when no-one else was in the zone - just to see if I could get a better idea of how things were meant to be when left alone for a while.When I got there, everything seemed to be up in the 3 rooms (including the unattackable mobs around the avatar, and the ghost dwarf who wanders that room too).I was there for about half an hour and the mobs around the avatar despawned. There was still no-one else in the zone and I had not attacked anything during this time.I hung around for a good hour and a half after that and these mobs did not respawn.Nothing in the 3 rooms was killed during this entire time.I don't know if the ghost dwarf has anything to do with all of this, but it kept despawning and respawning during the time I was there.Hope this helps.Yorke

afaik ghost dorf is for the brell god quest i will find out tonight.
what you observe may well be the BUG

It seems the event respawns every 2 hours. 30 minutes later the goblin sculptors around the avatar despawn and the event becomes bugged. Unable to be rekilled until 2 hours after they despawned. Seriously as the sole source of gloves in server the avatar should at least be 100% legendary.

Also the named gargoyle by the sage in CMM should drop class legs as well. Dunno if he does sinc ei havent gotten his legendary chest yet. But its silly i am still getting discos on legendary legs off the sage.

Also the chest piece should be 100% legendary drop off the x2 ring events. Heck it should drop 2 items. Anyone who has doen the x2 ring event towers in CMM. Will tell you getting those 2x ring events down require a well equipped raid guild w good dps. I just don't see many people ever seeing those chest peices.

Ok, here's how the ring works. (100% sure here, probably pushing a dozen kills or more by now)
3 parts must be up:1st room must contain the following groups;
A: 4 Bugbears standing around pool of waterB: Goblin in water with a couple of rock shard things
2nd room must contain the following groups;
A: 2 seperate groups of goblin miners (with 1 rat per group)B: The Avatar
3rd room must contain the following groups;
A: 2 groups of 4 rats on floorB: 1 group of 3 rats (2 on stairs, 1 on chair to far north)

To kill the ring event you:1; Kill the group of 4 bugbears standing around the water in 1st room2; Kill the group with the goblin and the rock shards in water in 1st room3; Kill the 2 groups of miners around the avatar in 2nd room (can possibly have named miner, which has no bearing on if ring will progress or not) Order does not matter4; Kill the 2 groups of 4 rats, and 1 group of 3 rats in the 3rd room. (Group with 3 rats can have named, again with no bearing on if ring progresses) Order does not matter5; Return to the middle room and kill the Avatar.After completing steps 1 and 2, the mobs for step 3 will become aggro. After step 3, step 4 mobs will become aggro. After completing step 4, Avatar will become attackable.
The spawn for the ring event works as follows:2 hours after the ring is killed, the entire ring event will respawn. If the ring is not killed for a certain period of time (30 minutes seems to be the mark) step 3 will despawn. (This is where most people find it and think it's broken) Step 3 will respawn again 2 hours (I think this is correct length) after it despawned and again remain up for 3 minutes before depoping for 2 more hours.From my experiance, the ring can be found in 3 states:1; The entire ring is down (2 hour respawn)2; The entire ring is up (will be up for 30 minutes from the time it poped)3; The ring is up except for the miners around the Avatar (Repop for them is 2 hours after they despawned)
My strat to kill the event:A friend and I usually spend late night duoing Kaladim once everyone else has gone to bed. The 1st thing we do upon zoning in is to check the rings status. If it's up we kill it (The entire ring can be duo'd if you know what you're doing and work well together) and set a timer. If it's not up we will check back every 25 minutes-ish until it is and then kill it. The trick is finding it up in the 1st place. After you down it once and catch the timer it's very easy to kill the rest of the night. We'll usually spend 2-6 hours in there middle of the night (usually the only 2 people) and tag the event at least once, often 2-3 times.The hardest fight in the event (from a duo perspective) is the 2 nights not actually a part of the event that roam the rings. (2 ^^^Rat knights in a group together) They can spawn as blues (69) or whites (70). As blues they are rather a pushover, if they are white you're in for a tough fight. (I parsed myself at 800hps healing for the minute until he killed the 1st one tonight) You can actually dodge these and complete the event if you are unable to kill them (they don't affect the event) but it just adds another layer of timeing. Next to them, the only other difficult-ish fights to duo are the groups of 4 ^^ rats in the 3rd room if they spawn at 70.(For info to those wanting to try and duo, we are Fury/Zerker combo. Mostly legendary geared, but fairly heavily mastered and AA'd. (And group together in voice chat every night) I'd reccomend a trio unless you work very well with your duo partner and can put of a decent ammount of DPS and healing simultaniously. The Avatar itself is pretty easy for any duo, much more so than some of the mobs in the ring before it.
Loot wise, the Avatar can dop 3 things (+ same master chance as any named)1: Crap treasured mace. We got this 2x in a row tonight... talk about a mood killer.2; Scout gloves. Not part of a set, but a legendary set of gloves with +35 strength. (No-trade)3; Set Gloves. Any of the legendary set gloves. These are the prize you're after. We're still seeing server discoveries some of the pair, and a good pair can fetch 25p+ on broker.
And thats basically Avatar ring 101, 201, 301, and 401 in a nice neat package. ;PAre the gloves rarer than they should be? Hell yeah, they should be a 100% drop with this guy being such a pain to find up. (For those who can't camp a dungeon for hours straight in the middle of the night when there's no competition) I'd guess maybe 1 pair a day drop on the server on average. (Never seen a pair on broker except what me and my friend put up) But they do drop, and the ring is not completely busted as it seems. It's just a PitA.

Yep, forgot to add that both the possible-named in the ring have their own legendary's they can drop as well. (Although I don't remember off the top of my head what they are)In my oppinion the named I'm really having a problem with are the Pickmaster at bottom of mine shaft. (40 hours + in the dungeon with basically no competition and NEVER seen him) We kill his PH for hours, then the spawn just stops. (my assumption is this means we were supposed to get the named, but it broke) This has happened to me for weeks.Also the ring where the lvl30 rock sculputres spawn, we still haven't gotten that one to work.
