<DIV>I was on a mini raid over the weekend with 2 groups of guild mates, aiming at doing the epic x 2 named. There were only 32 players in the zone inclduing the 12 of us. Lag spikes were frequent and severe (5-10 seconds long and caused complete lockup, not slow down). We fought up the left hand side to the Pack Master, cleared his room and killed him (despite the lag difficulties). Found the Epic X 4 mobs just too risky so evaced to the zone in and cleared up the right hand side this time. Started clearing the named room when we decided mid fight (clearing one of the  guard groups) that the lag was too much and evacced to the zone in. Even as my screen is reloading the zone I can hear the sounds of fighting. By the time the game finally updates me into the zone I am already dead as the group we had been fighting had ported down with us.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My several concerns on this are as follows:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Why such heavy lag on a zone with only 32 people in it. Reminds me of DFC in Zek.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Why does X 4 content block X 2 content. Or is it intended having fought up tot he 3rd floor you have to go back down to the 2nd floor and fight back up the other side to avoid the X4.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is it intended that the mobs follow you down upon evac. If so isn't it just slightly unfair they do so immediately while in game characters have to go through the 20-30 second (if your lucky) zone reload process. I presume the game knows at which point you are active in the game world, allow combat to resume then. Then again are the mobs supposed to follow you down at all. This reminds me of the old Gates of Aa bug where mobs would pop on you upon reviving at zone in.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Other than that I enjoy the look and feel of the zone alot. Just can't appreciate it fully in lag mode. And that was with the gfx turned way down. One other small gripe though, having cleared in excess of 100 mobs, including the pack master named and several X4 guardians, no loot to show other than some coin and endless vampire incisors was annoying,. Why no chest on the Pack Master ?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sark.</DIV>

the zone reminds me of temple of scale, only upped in difficulty.  pain in the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] mobs, crap drops.  most of the named if they dropped anything, dropped wood(treasured) and ive seen one legendary outta countless kills.  talk about waste of time.  of course, aside the lag.<div></div>

<P>Whilst i haven't experienced much lag in the castle i have noticed that the drops just suck.  We have killed quite a few nameds and it always drops treasured and we have killed um a few times too.</P> <P>Is this intentional??</P> <P>If so this zone will be as popular as a fart in a lift in a few months.  This needs sorting out with a zone as hard as Castle Mistmore the rewards should be worth the effort and time.  As it is the drops in the catacombs are much better.</P>

As I said, we killed the pack master, clearly the named from the left hand x 2 ring event and he dropped - nothing. Not even a wooden chest. If that is risk vs. reward then I must have no conception of the idea.</P> <P>Sark.</P>

<P>I forget which since i didn't finish it yet, but one of the x2 in the third floor of castle mistmoore and is an HQ quest mob. As such it is on a fairly fast respawn timer and does not drop much if any loot. </P> <P>Secondly the true named x2 epics maestro and (the guy downstairs i cant remeber) drop good legendary items. One of them is a 700ish encounter taunt melee proc cloak. Problem is both of these x2 epics are on at least 24 hour respawns. which means they are not garanteed legendary (< this is dumb). I know they are both easy, but they should still be 3 day (+/- 12 hour) respawns with 100% legendary drop rates and small chance on a fabled item. Other then the lag the zone is fine. the heoric ring events are hard but doable w a group. It will only get eaiser in the long run.</P>

27 ppl in zone tonight and the lag was almost unplayable for a good quarter of us.  Besides warping all over the zone, the mobs were warping too, and the spell/ca lag was some of the worst I've seen so far.<div></div>

One issue I have with the zone, is there's a room in the basesment, to the southern part of the map, where if you wipe, half the people will revive at the entrance, and half the people will revive somewhere else.  They should either fine tune the dividing lines of revive points so it's not split within the same room, or they should give both options as revive point choices.
