<DIV>Is it just me, or is the population growing?  Now, I know that with every new expansion we see a population spike, but this feels more dramatic.  Running around town and through the T2 zones today, it felt more like it did....on release <EM>two years ago</EM>!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I really wish SOE released their sales figures so I could know for sure.  But what do you think?  Doesn't EQ2 seem a lot more alive lately?</DIV><p>Message Edited by Phylicus on <span class=date_text>12-01-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:35 PM</span>

I expect there to be more people in game, but it is also due to the fact that more people have started alts again.  Almost everyone in game that I know has a new alt to explore the newlands....<div></div>

i doubt many real new players came to eq2, sure there are some that did, but i think that that number will be in the area of 2 or 3 digits.....why i say that? remember the 100's of threads about how extreme bad the avalaibility of eq2 in retail is? how the game got it's last advertisment in europe in the year 2004? i think most of the one's you see running around are returning player's and active player's that just play more now that they have additional content to explore. <div></div>

<DIV>Speaking for myself - I'm new.  A WoW refugee actually.  And honestly, it's been a refreshing change of scenery. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I actually think there are more of us here that are true noobs than one might think.  WoW is losing it's high end player base in droves...  With their upcoming expansion making moot everything that we had worked for for two years. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
