I've searched all the forums, asked in game, but it seems I'm the only one experiencing this problem.Only in Kelethin, I enter a building and the NPCs that are supposed to be there, arent. Banker for one, some of the writ givers. But if I run underneath kelethin I find them standing on the ground, however if I try to interact with them I get "You are too far away" error. Anyone else experiencing this? Is this a known issue? Is there a fix like a patch or something?<div></div>

<DIV>On the server, they may actually be where they are supposed to be but do not display that way (on the client). Try selecting them, if you see them on the ground, move to where they <EM>should</EM> be then try interacting with them.</DIV>

Yeah I understand the problem, thanks for the feedback <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />The issue is that it's a royal pita to have to run underneath kelethin, target the npc, jaunt back up to the top of Kelethin to where the NPC is just to hail them. Was just curious if it was just my client that was having the issue or if it was more widespread. <div></div>

<DIV>Well, a similar problem is when you can't see other players, and you can turn the graphic on and/or off for the....bah can't remember the name of it (not at game pc), but it's for the alternate player graphics.  If you know what I'm talking about, you can try this, and maybe other things like adjusting your other graphics up/down, and/or relog.  I know you shouldn't have to do this, and is still a pita, and there needs to be a fix, but this may be easier than running up and down, if it works at all.  </DIV>

If you mean low res characters I have that set to 40.. so I don't think I'm hitting my max avatar limits...I'm gonna run a full file scan just to see if something carried over from a previous install of EoF<div></div>

<DIV>It's a "known issue" in the sense that it seems to happen randomly to NPCs throughout the game that are "above" the ground of the zone. It happens sometimes to the NPCs in that big tree in Eldar Grove where the scout guild is in Qeynos. It's not a graphical bug on your end, if you see the NPC on the ground instead of the proper location, then others will too, at least that's how it's always been for me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>~Balance, 70 Brigand</DIV> <DIV>Crushbone</DIV>

Fixed the problem.I deleted the exp03_rgn_Greater_faydark.vpk file from my Everquest II Folder. Ran the patcher and that corrected the issue. Seems somehow the zone file got corrupted. thanks for all the responses.<div></div>
