something needs to be done with the obelisk and this, on the bazaar its become such a hassle the access quests take hours at a time, i love this zone, if theres ever a group to go here i hop along this is my favorite zone i never miss a chance to go here, heck when i have nothing to do i just come here anyway, but the problem of botters/boxers and farmers here is tremendously annoying, the normal farming is fine when the people are actually there doing it but when you have full invis groups auto following one member who may never speak and if they do the english is so bad it seems like they must be foreign i wonder what has happened to my favorite place ever, i have seen the same groups in here days on end and they just keep killing and killing and killling and it looks like they may have disabled their combat exp because they always seem to stay the same level, please find a way to do something about this i hate seeing my favorite zone insulted this way, also could the teleporter and the and the higher areas please be tweaked a bit people still fall through the zone alot my 2 cents just read it please:smileysad:

Message Edited by cashp on 11-26-2006 01:13 PM

You're just noticing this? Its been going on forever on Nektulos. This is what you do, get a level 70 bard to go aggro every named in the zone and lock his encounters. Then just stand there! The mobs will beat on him, but not do enough damage to overcome his heath regen song. After awhile the botters will leave. Reset the mobs and let the real players play. Our guild troub does this whenever the botters aren't playing nice. They even opened trade windows and would put 20p in and say leave! The idiots clicked accept and so did the troub, but he stayed there and kept their money. LOL!Now if they see him enter the zone, they just leave, because they know what he will do. His mere presence allows real players to hunt unmolested.

i have to admit thats a great idea, but i dont know any level 70 troubadours, the highest character i have is a 62 conjuror and after the latest update i cant tank like i used to so i doubt i could take on the whole zone, maybe before the update but not now, anyway if anyone from the bazaar reads this and feels like doing something about it please help out and do so, i hate to see my favorite zone go to waste if you want to contact me my name is vortexelemental on the bazaar server, i just wish that some people would clean up great zones like this one it defines a dungeon this is the type of zone i started playing MMO's for, i would love to see a new floor or a second instance for 60s, because honestly the last floor seems like they just left it, its sort of empty but then again the vestibule has me stumped because i cant open the door on the inside so i dont knowalso can anyone tell me how to get past that door in the vestibule it says it is sealed , do i need that quest i have heard about that drops rarely of the bigger mobs?

Message Edited by cashp on 11-27-2006 12:36 PM

It is bad when they do it on Venekor while groups are trying to do the second door access.

There are several Ring of Storms on the broker, Bent Shield of the Harbinger, etc...the ring for like 3-4p, other now common legendary items because of the farming but still they put up for few plat....

Why do these farmers put things up for insane prices no one will pay in their right mind?

One that I see on /who in Forbidden Sepulchre alot and never replies to tells has a paladin master (lvl 40s) for 4p on the broker!

I can buy for 4p a paladin master in the 60s.

In general though, Qeynos has a poor market with very limited selection. You can see 4 pages of wizard masters 60-70 on Freeport (BTW DEVS: FIX THE DMN PVP FENCE!), including such hits as Firestorm, IN, Irradiate, etc...perhaps a few copies of each, and only craptastic 2 page selection on Qeynos side.

A month ago when the fence WAS working, you could see tons of OOLS stuff on Freeport side. I bought the bent shield for just 10 or 15g WITH the 40% markup.
