I went last night with my usual group (11/24/06) The two as you zone in were OK. But the first named is insane. I have 72% Vs Magic and she hit me for 8978points of damage. Then again for 6552 points of damage. Needless to say I died and we tried again, and again and again, and again. The almost 9k hit I am happy to say only happened once and the "norm" seamed to be around 5k. At 72% vs magic and some hits being half my life don't you think thats alittle much? If a caster was being hit for that much they would fall over dead in one shot - I thought this expantion was about making things more balanced so resist gear actually ment something and folks wouldnt fall over dead in one hit. The named up above after exactly 54 kills (as of last night) still has not dropped his haste item for us - but fighting him was the same as always - fun. After we killed him we went up the steps and cleared the room and parked the group there - I went up the next set of steps carefully, as soon as I was at the top the named from the floor above! aggro'd me. I ran back down to get ready for the INC and we had the entire floor and the named from above - we died. I tried to pull it four more times and on the 4th time the named didn't reset correctly I could see him as I went up the steps on the wrong floor. The funny part is this time I was able to pull him b/c he was on the wrong floor and we killed the named with no adds. - he was the same fight as always once he was alone. In fact all the other named in the zone are OK - untill we get to the Earth guy Who still has not dropped the wrist item after 54 kills. And then we got to the fire guy HAHA funny named. While he didn't hit me with almost 9k hits he now does very very small amounts of fire damage when he attacks you. I think its GREAT! but his AE at 76% Vs fire is still 4-6.5k hits. The crazy part is the rest of my group had less fire resists The necro for example had 60% Vs fire and he got hit less hard then I did (by the AE fire). Flameclaw at 76% Vs fire is ALOT harder 6k,7k,5k,6k hits holly crap healers dont blink. In short all spell damage is doing MORE damage then it used too. Specifically these two npcs (first named and the fire named) - and then flameclaw. Flameclaw has always been BAD - but its worse now. The group I took with me usually clears the zone with a *Few* deaths (we die on the main named once, or twice and usually the buggy pull gets us once or twice) but last night I used 3 repair kits. I understand this zone is supposted to be HARD - I'm glad I like it this way - but the spell damage is to much. I should also add that Sever, Obliterate,& Merciless Charge missed 85% of the time - 1 in 5 or 6 would land. This made keeping aggro insanly hard. My Group taunt - resisted or not as potent I had to use rescue VERY often to keep aggro off the defiler, cleric, swash, and necro. More then I Have EVER EVER EVER had to do pre-EoF. Balance on melee Vs npcs and Combat abilitys vs NPC's is way out of wack. ALL of these are master 1 spells btw. (Except the AE taunt thats master 2!!!!!)

We did up to the x2 before we decided to leave with a group of Warden, Fury, Illusionist, Paladin, Troubador, and Necro. The x2 and the Summoner named before the x2 we did without the Troubador. There wasn't a lot of issues with us killing anything in the zone, besides the fact we had 2 druids which kind of makes it a not so great group. We were able to take on everything with minor difficulty as it was pre-revamp. This was also before they did the change to Nizara, it was on 11/20, which is before the changed to Nizara. While flameclaw was hitting for a lot, the Paladin didn't have enough HP to really take it due to there being only druid healers.Overall, Nizara didn't seem too horrible before they changed it.
