Crab & Roost in FD get the adjustments as well? [Archive]

<DIV>Our guild tried them last night and they seemed quite a bit more difficult than pre-EOF. I was getting one-shotted by the Roost magic AOE with 7100 magic resist. (7400 dmg) We had no issues doing it before EOF. Something tells me they weren't fixed. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> The crab is also more difficult than before but was killed.</DIV>

It looks like the ranged-based AE from the bird is a bit more powerful than it used to be.Crab works fine from what I saw.

Yeah the crab doesn't look too bad. But the bird packs a huge wallop now. I think I was at ~66% resist and I got hit for 7400 which would make it a 22k aoe about. On top of that, it's dot is pretty strong too - but at least that was survivable. The magic one was outright wiping people who were at full health. Granted, we weren't in full magic resist gear, but we didn't have to be prior to EOF, either.

I think they just forgot to go back and nerf the Int and Str of some of the old mobs. With the new higher caps their AE's do alot more damage then they used to coupled with the nerf to some classes debuffs, paticularly defilers, that makes for much harder mobs. I know for our DT run we did last Friday we needed to land fast an early every Int debuff we could on the Gazers to make them killable. I don't see how that'd be possible in Roost with the mob flying up between sets of adds.

Well crab was ok however still was AE above thenit should. Roost, mercy it is harder. <div></div>

We get there 2 days ago for the 1st time, so I dont know how it was pre-EoF. But what I have seen there make me think of a completly broken encounter. I'm talking about Xux'Laio the Master of the Fluttering Wings This guy main AoE magic (called The Fluttering Wings) was hitting the raid for 12k max WITH resist gear on, and the tank (paladin with 9K+ resist magic) for about 7K. He got a second AoE (called Windstorm) that was hitting us for much reasonable amount (about 2k max) No need to mention we were not able to defeat this guy and the adds he was spawning every 30 s But, the WORSE thing is this guy got some sort of ability that INSTA-KILL people on EVERY SINGLE slash he does It might to be something like the Curse of Insanity as the Black Queen in Courts has : a chance to kill you each tick working with your power... the less power you have, the greater the chance to be killed And now the fun part with some raw numbers from my logs (im the defiler in support
