Graverobbers in the Graveyard

<DIV>Are the spawn rates of Graverobbers in the Graveyeard bugged? I have waited for two night cycles and haven't seen even one.</DIV>

I tried for weeks at all 3 graveyards to find them and no luck.  Finally gave up and deleted quest at 43.<div></div>

The graverobbers only spawn at night, and they have placeholderes. Find the larger crypts that are sort of shaped like crosses, and kill all the mobs around them. Eventually you should find graverobbers spawning. There is also a spot where a named graverobber sometimes spawns, but that doesn't seem to happen every "night".

Find the crypt with steps leading down to it door, down there is says something like "this door looks like it has been disturbed recently" or something along those lines. keep clearing the 2 zombies that spawn there, graverobbers will definatly spawn at night here often 2 times. <div></div>

<DIV>Just to be clear, there are two different grave robbers.  I know this from the countless new alts that I've created in Freeport.  After a few new alts one would tend to memorize quests.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The first type spawns at the foot of the stairs at Sir Haligan's tomb, or however his name is spelled.  This is the tomb that has the door that isn't quite closed when you examine it during a quest given by the mage NPC near the gate to Stonestair Byway.  Killing the placeholders at night will eventually spawn the grave robbers to satisfy this particular mage NPC's quest.  These guys are Ratonga and usually spawn in a group of two or three.  These used to spawn in several other locations around the crypts but lately they're more rare than before.  You can count on the ones at Sir Haligan's tomb to spawn at night.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The other type of grave robber is out in the Commonlands in Turmoil Cemetary, which is not far from the gate to The Sprawl.  The place holder is a lost soul, if I have the name right, and you can't miss them because there are only two of them walking about.  Killing them at night will eventually spawn the other type of grave robber.  If I remember correctly, the lost souls are skeletons, and the grave robbers are humanoid ghosts.  But I may have them reversed.  Either way, this grave robber is the one required to complete the "Graverobber Spoils" quest.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hope this made it clear to you.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Good luck.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Aljola on <span class=date_text>11-30-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:05 PM</span>

There are also graverobbers which spawn randomly at night around the larger crypts in The Graveyard. I've done the quest several times, and once I figured out where they spawn it was relatively easy to find them. Of course, having tracking helps once you've cleared the area and are looking for any graverobbers which may have spawned <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.
