The raid zones in EoF were tested for by guilds on beta and pickup raids.

Most intitial comments indicated the zones were too easy, and they we bummed up some.

I saw no posts regarding KoS raid zones being tested on Beta. There may have been, but I recall no info.

Actually yes we did test KoS raid zones and though was abit tuffer, still didnt see to much of a problem with these zones.

Well a bit tougher seems to an understatement. LOL

We had no problems with the trash in AoA 4x, a week ago and today we wipe multiple times on them.

They just seems not right to me. It felt like the trash mobs dps was double to triple what it was last week.

I guess my expection was that KoS raid would not seem different, i.e. be the same level of difficulty as it was before EOF.

And I expected EoF raid zones to be incredmental tougher than KoS raid zones. Oh well.

I guess if I don't see a correction mentioned, we'll try Freethinkers instead of Deathtoll this Fri.

Think its a bug that came with today patch, or yesterdays. In beta they werent hittin this hard. Solo trash mobs in Castle Mistmoore were hittin our tank for 1-2k auto attack lol.

Sometimes I wonder why SOE even has beta tests when they go and change everything come launch anyway. Yeah, mobs weren't hitting anywhere near as hard as they are on live at all during beta. I must admit, it was pretty amusing to go from being able to solo the heroic trash in castle mistmoore only to end up nearly getting my [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] handed to me at the solo section of it.

Well after a good day of testin epics yesterday, we killed a tuff contested, Cheldrak, and a EoF raid instance. All done. Epics are hittin harder, but really the stuff is still killable, just might take an extra few trys.

That NPU can handle the "expected increase" in the KoS mobs surprises me not in the least. You are after all considered to be in the top 10 to 20 guilds worldwide.

For the rest of us normal people, it seems the a bit harsh to say the least.

I get owned in MM at the enterance by the solo single up mob. I'm a paladin with 100% masters, 2 sets of fabled gear (dress for all occasions) and I get owned.

Certainly this is not right.

We are taking a huge beating in Labs right now, cant even make it past Slavering Alzid. We are not a high end guild, but we have made it up to the mob before corsolander with no issues, now its a struggle with any named.

Neat, tonight with Harla Dar was awesome. Not only were her AEs horribly overpowered doing over twice the normal damage we'd get and she was autoattacking for 4k damage, but I was only hitting 40% of the time. I guess I'm supposed to just tank in offensive stance in order to hold aggro, because due to the mitigation curve I really only lose like 3% miti by doing so!Actually now that I look through my logs more, a monk was hitting 37% of the time, a bruiser 47%, a pally 48%, a brigand 47%. When on previous attemps with similar setups, everybody was doing around 80%. I understand melee skills are more important, but that's a bit... excessive. These changes were definately well-thought out and stuff.

Message Edited by kenman on 11-17-2006 02:18 AM
