View Full Version : Getting to Maj'Dul in exile.

So, I'm thinking of putting my character into permanent exile, as this is the only "neutral" option at the moment. I'm going to be moving to Maj'Dul anyways, and I know you get call of Maj'Dul or whatever it is. My question is, if my call is down, can I sneak into one of the cities and be able to use the carpet from the harbour to get back to Ro? Would it still work for me? Or is there one in Haven? Sorry if this sounds really stupid, just wanted to know.

I thought there was a carpet on TS docks if your are exiled, but I am not sure.

Head to Qeynos Harbor or East Freeport, and take the carpet.

I'm basically in permanent exile at the moment...and I haven't noticed a carpet on the TS docks...when you fly out of Sinking Sands it takes you there...I think...but I never bothered to look for one to Maj'Dul.
What you CAN do is complete the faction quests for either city until you are amiable (10k I believe) and then just wander into said city. The guards will threaten you, but not attack. You won't fully be a citizen in either city until you complete the absolute last step of betrayal which is seeing your new trainer.
When it comes to your call, unless you have already completed the binding quest (can't do it while in exile...I so shoulda done it before), I don't think you can change your call location (may not even work while in exile anyhow), so it'll stay as Haven.
I hadn't thought of moving to Maj'Dul, but that could work for a new call.

As for a carpet in Haven, there is a fella standing by a portal to Maj'Dul up near the "shinies Giant"...I talked to him once a few levels ago (low 40's) and he told me it was broken, but it may become available at higher levels.

Not a complete answer, I know, but hopefully it helps.
